Am I the only one that wishes someone like Maynard would quash or confirm these rumours? Talking of which, what is the latest on Grant? Is the deal dead? The method at getting to this rumours board isn't as easy as it used to be. Maybe he can't find the right thread? |

but we have a star striker in the wings - just have to wait another 25+ games till he appears......I wonder if we were all to go out and panic buy every fucking Haribo in the land he would realise that there are none left and make an appearance '? Give it a rest now with the Haribo schtick eh? 😴 Only when we get 20 games out of less than average squad player touted to be the saviour of HTFC - as I stated way back when we signed him - injury prone .....no better than we had at the time and we will be lucky to get half a season out of him as he trousers an obscene amount of wages to do fook all. I would totally agree - I've given it time, and I'm genuinely not against changing things, but this new system hasn't stopped any of the rubbish/rumours (which were sometimes entertaining in themselves) but has made things unnecessarily contrived and a bit soulless perhaps. |

What i dont understand is that this is a forum, a community and people use this place for social banter as much as anything. Still town related mostly even if it did go off on a tangent.
This seems to have killed it dead and at a time when apathy is already rife we need to maintain that level of banter for all of our sanities.
Change it back for me.

I came across an original style Highland Toffee Bar last year in Keswick. Hadn't seen one for 25 yrs. Must have gone through 20 a week when I was a kid. 4 for 20p, bloody lovely |

Personally I find it much better!
People can still post crap under the name of the player linked by a source and it’s far easier to ignore than when it spammed one long thread!
