Kongolos injury is causing problems, Fulham and sheff u very keen but reluctant until thorough check on injury carried out. Pritchard been speaking to clubs but cannot even get 50% of his current wage so looks like he'll be staying unless someone gets desperate. KG - nothing happening again may change as people get desperate So does all that mean there's no incomings unless one of the above leave? Without meaning to sound facetious, I think that’s been clear for some time (unless you mean a cheap lower league freebie).

Anything really. I don't expect us to spend any money even if we sell all 3 but i just wondered if we might do a loan regardless of the sales.

If grant goes I’d maybe expect a loan to replace him anyway, although hopefully one with option to buy.i think we could do with another wide man however not sure if kongolo does go we would then look to bring one in.if Pritchard was to go though(although sounds extremely unlikely)I would hope that we would definitely replace him with another attacking midfield player.plenty time still yet most likely as wouldn’t seem we have the time frame now to be dealing in the international market.we wait and see.

Notice Villa have released Jota. Perhaps a Spanish coach could bring the best out of him again?

Would imagine his wages will put him out of reach but Jota would be a class signing.

We still have 3 players on the books who we pay just shy of 100k a week to in total...and they aren't the only ones

Yep, after a 50% reduction Madness, it's crazy paying these wages to below average footballers who in some cases give minimum effort.I really hope this pandemic brings football to it's financial senses, and while I'm having a rant it's also time for clubs below the PL to get together and STOP PAYING AGENTS, it can be done if they all stick together, far too much money going out of the game .

Sanctioning wages upwards of 60k a week for multiple players. It must be great to squander millions playing football club owner then get all back because they were only loans. Good job he was a fan, just imagine a foreign owner that gives money to the club rather than loans it.

Is the domestic window closed tomoro or the European? Seems that basically only business between the efl and PL can be done after tomorrow. EFL can trade amongst themselves but the PL can't.

Amazing how we didn't blow our brains out financially in the championship only to do exactly the opposite in the Premier league. It's no wonder we need to get rid of the few that remain.

Premier League clubs pay Premier League wages ... that’s why the parachute payments were put in place (to protect clubs who go down). No additional comment needed.

With foreign transfers about to close tomorrow, makes me worried we are going to be locked into overpaying or loans that we can’t buy. Hopefully we bite the bullet and bring in at least one permanent on the basis that Grant or Kongolo or both leave?

Would love us to sign Jota, perfect signing, a bit of creativity from the right hand side is just what we need. Bags of goals and assists for Brentford and Birmingham.

Glad you’re ok mate, I was concerned you may have spontaneously combusted this evening! 🤣🤣🤣 I only wish I'd actually watched it instead of the T20 I’ve lost a fucking fortune today. Every goal that Villa scored, the more convinced I was that they’d somehow come back to win and piled more money on! Happy days! 🤣

I presume from the lack of further rumours, Schindy is not going back to Germany?
