Can’t see this being true. It would be lovely if it was. See ya Pritch! But in reality, no it won’t happen. It would be : Ring ring “Hello is that Alex Pritchard’s agent? Yeah we are interested in bringing Alex back home to Norwich/to the new community stadium in West London. ..................... he’s on how much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?” Phone line goes dead. Pritchard’s agent left holding the phone “Hello? Hellllooo? I think we’ve been cut off. Hello? Hello?”

I'm not being facetious here but wouldn't we all snap someone's hand off if they offered ANY fee for Pritchard, just to get his wage off the bill?

Norwich & Brentford battling over Pritchard sounds as vicious a contest as Duncan Goodhew and Patrick Stewart arguing over a comb.

Different player on the front foot. Looked the best attacking player tonight, fouled incessantly. Never gave up. Fine performance. More to follow now hopefully.

You're right in that he was indeed fouled on a regular basis, but for me - and I know that this is a very contentious opinion - he gave the ball away far more often than he did anything useful with it. And he really does need to come off all dead-ball scenarios...

Just hints of a player who can cause teams problems consistently at this level. Edit. And absolutely Eiting for set pieces as AP is worse than Mooy was.

It was far from a great performance from Pritchard, & still nowhere near what a 12M player should be producing, however, you cannot fault his effort & commitment & I bet Danny Cowley wonders what CC has done to get him to buy into his philosophy.

I have no idea why he isn’t on set pieces. It’s madness. He has real whip and pace and height to his crosses. AP like Mooy is not a set piece man even though both felt they were.

Mentioned by Maynard in the outbound players thread that there is “interest” in him, maybe it’s that and not so much what CC has done. Maybe I’m just an ageing cynic though and he’s finally over his cyst injury and feeling better in his mind and body?

Yes, that crossed my mind Dave, but I'm still on a high from last night & wanted to give him the benefit of doubt.

A move would no doubt increase his financial wealth. I’d like to believe the other though- that he’s (finally) getting fitter, that the players are in general more motivated/committed/buying into the style of play and that AP like Hamer is determined to deliver on the pitch. I’m no blind fan of Pritchard but I watched him away in the prem on a few occasions and he was technically very good, alongside Billinh and Mooy at times we played some great football, alas with no finish as we all know. When we came back to this level I recall thinking he would hurt teams with the time and space you get at this level. It hasn’t worked out that way, yet. After yesterday there’s hope that scenario might happen once more.

On his way with Grant and Kongolo. More respect for Pritchard as he has kept his head down.

The claim is he's injured, but maynardblue did say he's been talking to other clubs. So you would have to suspect the latter.

I think today's performance showed that we didn't miss him whatsoever - just hope that some idiotic club will offer him anything like what we're paying him. Didn't Maynardblue say no club he's spoken to have offered him even HALF what we agreed to pay him ?!??
