Fair play to the lad for not downing tools and actually trying to find a move, without pay from Town. 👏🏼 Deserves the move, good luck to him.

Would never brand Flo in the same category as a lot of the other signings since our fall. Not my cup of tea as a fullback, soft and weak as piss but always at least ran his nuts off and didn’t look like he was happy to just take the paycheque.

It's a shame how it has worked out for Flo.
When he first arrived he showed what a great player he can be, forcing Tommy Smith out in the end and Smith was fantastic for us. But like many others, once the loan turns into a permanent deal. Seem to go backwards.

Dont recall him ever showing anything like what a great player can be. Thought he started off looking weak and carried it on throughout. Never really understood why we turned his loan into a permanent thing.
Best game i saw him have was at old trafford when he played central midfield but as a full back he was hopelessly weak defensively and whilst he would get forward into some great positions, he never had the pace or tricks to beat the opposition full back, so would always turn round and go backwards, killing the momentum of the attack. When he did get the chance to cross the ball it was it would be consistently piss poor and not get past the first man.
My lasting memory of him will be when i was a bit late arriving at the ground when we played home to Man utd at the end of our relegation season, and just before kick off seeing him driving away from the stadium in his big expensive car. A great show of team spirit and support for the club that had been making him a millionaire it wasn't.
At £5m not the worst signing we made after reaching the prem, but certainly well up there.

You can add to that probably our worst ever example of a player who would go down, writhing in agony after being tackled. Hard to remember a single game he played in and wasn’t “hurt” at some point.

Can't tackle. Can't cross. Petrified of heading the ball. Him and his vein can knob off!
One of our worst signings, usually involved or at fault for the goals we conceded and a shocking excuse for a RB.
Sums it up for me, there was an away game last season (maybe Charlton) where he literally tracked one of their guys from the half way line to the byline; made no attempt to tackle or foul the bloke at any point, then danced around in the box and and I think it resulted in a decent chance or a corner. Lets be honest, that could have been any game.
As Warnock would say... "Soft as shit"

Won the Players Young player of the year in the 17/18 season and third in the overall player of the year that season - www.htafc.com/news/2018/april/schindler-named-towns-player-of-the-year/He was regular in a side that achieved an incrediable survival - for me his stand out game was Man City away (nil all) when he played in midfield and literally ran himself into the ground He also didn't make any waves last season when he wasn't involved. He went on loan and did well and now he's sorted himself a decent move away by the looks I'd certainly wish him all the best for the future

I still think fondly of him at the Wigan away game last season when he was playing left back, the 50 yard run he made to overlap Grant and take a defender away allowed Grant the room to fire in the equaliser.

I think arguably the best thing he's done for Town was the cross from the left for Depoitre's goal at home to Chelsea.

I absolutely hated watching what he called playing football. Everything that’s wrong with football when bad players get paid such massive sums. Not the rewarding of mediocrity- the massive rewarding of a very poor quality player.
He played like a novice just learning the game. Didn’t know what goal side marking was. Does not know how to show the player the inside, or stop the cross. Doesn’t understand it’s his job to stop the cross. When he got forward- which was a lot at first in Wagner’s system he was utterly clueless. He didn’t know how to beat a man or what kind of alternative pass he could try. Total ducking amateur. Who the fuck signed these absolute shitehawks. There should be a formal investigation and disciplinary action at the least.
I mean Moonie was crap let’s be honest but you could see what he could do- score when it’s crossed to him In the air, when in behind. Not his fault we only got ‘in behind’ twice in 4 years.
Flo had our pants down and our gonads in a vice for 2 long years. I for one am glad to be free.

Like the Sobhi deal, I hope we have cut our losses and got as much money for a player not playing for the club (who is not very good anyway) as possible.

sadly my enduring memory of him will be 2018-19, trotting upfield with the ball and whacking a cross into the first man while we loaded the box with 1 static striker. It happened far too many times to ever be burnt from my memory. That said, he was decent enough in his first season (although I think he didn't impress enough to warrant signing permanently), and did a decent enough job last season. Actually put in a few very solid defensive performances at left back, and was alright when filling in on the wing as well. Good luck to him, I'll be cheering for him if Kosovo get to the Euros.
