Blake 'Rat face' Welton or Steve Chicken? He's been a breath of fresh air for the Examiner since that tosser left. Being better than Welton isn't setting the bar very high

Better than BRW = the epitome of damning with faint praise. To this day I still don't know whether he was deliberately trying to be as obnoxious as possible or if that was just how he naturally was. For all that they don't have a tough act to follow, I do think Messrs Chicken & Hartrick are as good as the Examiner have ever had - certainly in my time as a fan.

He’s suggesting today that our opposition might pay extra attention to Koroma next season.
Insightful article. - I’d never of guessed that one.

Steve Chicken is an excellent journalist who provides insightful analysis. His pieces are invariably well written which, these days, is becoming increasingly rare even amongst 'professional scribes'. I imagine he will, in due course, move on to better things and we shall have to get used to mediocre coverage.

I don’t rate Chicken far too analytical for me. But I do sympathise with him to a point. It’s very difficult to come up with original content with all the wall to wall stuff on the internet plus social media to contend with. In a tribute to many posters on DATM, I can’t recall one Chicken article containing a topic that hasn’t been previously discussed on here.

Big Steve has been dragging the Examiner back into the sunshine for a good while now, and I think we Town fans all enjoy his reporting This got me thinking - if Steven Chicken was a fast-casual food chain, what would he be? Marstons? KFC? Nandos? Chicken Cottage?? Tell me his chicken chain and why!

He's done a piece on an interview Schindler has done, with Bild, today. He still can't help putting a shit, cringey pun in it 🤬

Yes most of his points have been discussed on datum but he falls in to the trap at times of assumption which in got ball you should never assume but he is for me the best town reporter I've known Mel booth was also very good but chicken is more in depth in his comments and knowledge for me
