Funny how different peoples opinions are - I’d take Smith in a hearbeat.
Pipa, Toff and Mbenza have been delivering good crosses into the box all season - even Campbell has the odd headed goal. A player like Smith should feast on them for 60mins, then Frazier to work hard for the last 30.

I’d take them both... gives us some options at least. Smith for the last 15 mins vs Bristol and Stoke would have been a decent plan b. |

Josip Drmić who has scored 2 goals since 2016. That should solve all our woes. Seems to have had a poor time of it for Borussia Monchengladbach... sent out on loan a lot. Doesn't seem to have been in the picture much at Norwich. 10 in 35 for Switzerland though. |

Now onto what appears to be our 6th or 7th choice signings and players that don't appear to score many goals. Our transfer policy is a farce. |

Is anyone actually bothered that we haven't signed one of the players we've been linked with today? Some absolute dross that would have just been a waste of a wage for 6 months I suppose the bigger question is why are we trying to loan players from league one and will that situation change for the better come the summer window once some big wages are off the books. I certainly hope so Its a funny situation: Happy Clappers suggest all other signings made by other clubs are not worth signing for one reason or another. Arseholes, idiots, the entitled etc. are enraged that we haven't got any signing over the line, even though the players mentioned are not deemed good enough. Neither particularly want to give any of the above players a chance despite knowing Carlos can polish turds  Maybe we shouldn't have left it so late again and at least we would have had a new player to slag off next week... Is it not a case that those considered negative perhaps over state the signings that others make because it supports their perspective? I’m not happy that we don’t seem to have brought in some more ammunition but I’ve genuinely only seen three or four moves that I’ve thought; that’s really good business! Ben Pearson probably top of that list. |

Josip Drmić who has scored 2 goals since 2016. That should solve all our woes. He'll fit reet in then if he can't score in a brothel Transfer market has him down as 13 goals since 2016. Not scored more 4 goals in a year since then. Hardly prolific. Matt Smith on the other hand has scored 45 in that time... Again - Transfermarket website |

Drmic is only 28 still. had one unstoppable season in the bundesliga 7 years ago and not been able to replicate it since at club level, I don't know enough about him to know why. Of the short term rolls of the dice available he's clearly got the most potential

I certainly hope so As you say none of the players anybody should be bothered but the worry is these are the type of targets in the summer. Could be a shrewd move considering our recent form. Players with league 1 experience could come in handy!! Let's hope not though |

Of course it is a gamble but he has far more pedigree than any other striker we have been linked with. Saw bits of him in Bundesliga and he looked decent at that time and at that level. Scored for fun at Nürnberg. |

If Drmic could get back to his best then it could be a shrewd signing. He needs to play consistently for that to happen.

Scored for fun at Nürnberg. Just been chatting to a Norwich fan; says he’s got a very decent touch, but injuries and form never really meant he got a decent run under his belt. Says he’s frustrating because you can see there’s a very good player it’s just getting it to shine. Arguably he should find form easier to come by in the Champ, but Pukki and co have kept him in the shadows. |
