Worst case scenario - we get relegated, ground still closed. How many will we shift? 5,000?

Worst case scenario - we get relegated, ground still closed. How many will we shift? 5,000? Probably. And if we are relegated and grounds are reopened, I was thinking around 8000. Too many are fed up/have had enough/have found something else to do with their time.

Might depend what pay on the day prices are. Won't be any issue getting in that's for sure.

It will go back to the good old days before all these premier league glory supporters jumped on the bandwagon. I suspect half of them will revert to their second teams United or Liverpool.

Good old days? Sit where you want in the stadium, crap atmosphere, crap football with the only positive of being guaranteed a ticket to every away game. One thing that went well for town in the promotion season was the sell out crowds and brilliant atmospheres that this generated and will be sadly missed in an half empty stadium.

I seem to remember decent atmosphere back in the mid late 90's with between 11 and 13,000 in attendance...half the Kilner Bank singing more or less constantly. Happy days.

It wasn’t a patch on the year we went up and being in the PL where all 4 stands were singing. It used to be good in the Kilner Bank but can’t see this now with the creation of the South Stand being a home end and quite a lot of fans moving there from the singing parts of the Kilner Bank. Derby and Sunderland at home we’re great atmospheres in the late 90’s and the Bradford game when Watson came on was electric, I’ve never heard town fans so spiteful and nasty to an opposition player (it was deserved though 😂😂).

If gates drop will we be able to afford the luxury of keeping Town fans in the South stand for all games and losing potential away support revenue?

No,we will be back to watching 4,000 away fans partying again, while we all sit silent

For those that are still undecided whether to buy, what will be the tipping point either way? I will renew only if the club demonstrates to me that they have ambition to improve. Actions will speak louder than words. The onus is on Town to prove to me that they deserve my financial support by renewing my ST. It really is that simple. It’s down to the club.

If gates drop we might well close the South and Fantastic Media ends to save a bit of money on stewarding!

This club seems to be buying youngsters for the future, maybe the club needs to concentrate on keeping its fan base with a really attractive deal for the 11,000 ST holders who have stayed so far with the club. A good chance we may lose a lot of our hardcore at this moment.

Worst case scenario - we get relegated, ground still closed. How many will we shift? 5,000? Relegated, ground still closed and still at £250 - I think your 5,000 is wildly optimistic, I take no pleasure from that and hope we don’t get to find out. Put aside some of the fruit loops on here and we’ve got to the stage where fans that love their club actually don’t like it right now.

I sit with a bunch of friends and family at the peak over 20 of us, chatting on a what’s app group last night think we will be lucky if 6 of those will be renewing next year if covid and towns shit show continues.

If gates drop we might well close the South and Fantastic Media ends to save a bit of money on stewarding! If they shut the south stand the savings on stewards would be wiped out on the ST sales as that would definitely be the final straw for many at the moment. This would be stupid, very stupid and won’t happen .

For those that are still undecided whether to buy, what will be the tipping point either way? Mine is already reached. 2x not renewing, closing of January transfer window for us. Crying out for a striker that can play now, not one for the future. The whole set-up just feels tinpot & amateurish. 19 years we have held ours.

For those that are still undecided whether to buy, what will be the tipping point either way? I wont be buying a ST until its nailed on we can attend matches again, missed the back end of last season and will miss all of this so no chance, not until we`re given the green light, i`ve only got so much money to waste.

Nearly two years ago I moved to an area where I could justify (travel wise) getting a Season Card. Now, I couldn’t justify it even if I lived in HD1. Championship or League One, it doesn’t matter to me. It’s about addressing the problems that are abundantly clear, instead of taking the punters for fools and waffling on, excuse after excuse. And that’s after ignoring us for God knows how long. I won’t be spending a single penny on the Club until things change. Until then, and definitely for the remainder of this season, I’ll not be following the results on the day. Such a totally avoidable scenario brought about by poor decision after poor decision. The Club don’t deserve my money, support or time at the moment.

Wow. What a bloody depressing weekend. Reading this thread, lots are disillusioned and I understand why. I hope the club are monitoring all of this as it’s frustrating that people’s views are stifled with no one able to go to the games.
Like many others, I kept my season card money ( x2 ) in the club this season, in my view, I showed great loyalty to the club by doing this. There is only one issue that’s grating on me to be honest ( apart from our inept performances on the field ) the way the club have totally disregarded the need for a striker and the “5 strikers “ remark used as justification for this.
With hindsight, Hodgkinson choose exactly the wrong time, last Friday, to provide us with some long awaited news from within the club. This has backfired big time.
I suppose the next few weeks will be vital in terms of people making decisions regarding Season Cards ( including myself ) for me, even though I’ve seen many bad times with Town, I can’t ever remember wavering over a decision to buy one before.

Can’t see anyone being in ground next season the virus isn’t going anywhere and the government are absolutely terrified of it. The thought of 20,000 all sat together in one place is more enough to scare them in to banning it. Apparently the vaccine doesn’t stop you getting it or passing it on so the nhs will still need protecting probably for years to come. The constant threat of lockdown will always be here so why buy a ticket for something you’re unlikely to be able to attend? The government have already proved they couldn’t care less about business going under, football clubs are just another thing that us peasants do so it isn’t high priority for them. May be restricted capacity. Won’t be a problem in league 1, except for a few games.

I always loved going to watch my beloved town with a few mates and my lad, it's a tradition, but the amount of times I've watched at home this season and said to myself that I'm glad that I've not had to make a 60 mile round trip to sit in a cold stadium to watch that sh*te has been more often then not.
We've been crap for years now and there's no signs of improvement, opposite infact.
Not a big fan of Phil if I'm honest. I like to think I'm a good judge of character and guy stinks of bullshi*t for me.
Might pick and choose my games next season and go to a few new grounds rather then being tied in.
