1. Pipa fights for his place 2. Depending on the form of the players involved, JK plays centrally, Thomas plays to his left, Ward/Campbell miss out 3. We change system. 433 would be my best guess. Thomas plays in front of Pipa on the right All good problems to have Agreed. Your point 3 would reflect my initial comment! Not quite. ‘I still believe Town could do with RB cover’ ‘I think Thomas plays there "in extremis" and would be better employed as a full-on attacking right midfielder/winger’ I don’t believe we need another right back. I don’t believe Thomas is played as a RWB only ‘in extremis’. I believe that’s his best position. I don’t believe 433 is our best system, I believe the flexible 343/352 is. Point 3 represents a potential solution ONLY if both Pipa AND Thomas become un-droppable AND the present system falters. I think we’ve found the best system for the players at our disposal, and Thomas’ role in it, allowing for the fact that AT SOME POINT other systems may be required. But not now. No shuffling of the deck now. Edit: This comes across as shoutier than I meant - apologies!

Really glad the board haven't decided to just stick with 2 strikers whilst Rhodes gets back fit. If this lad takes off we could well have a decent season. Really positive signing.
Sounds like 2 clubs are in for Mbenza which looks as tho it's going to go to the wire.

Lessons are being learned so credit where it’s due.

Mbenza out tomorrow and a creative mid/eiting replacement in and it will have been a very good window, although even if that’s us done which is more than likely it’s still been good.

He does, however, you have would question the standard of defending. Lets see what he can do against men, not boys. Exciting times.

I’ve criticised so it’s only right I praise. Well done Phil, Leigh and co.
Mbenza out and it’s a very good window, being greedy midfielder in and it’s probably the best window for years

Only way that would happen is if one of those left, possibly High on loan and bring one in on loan Or obrien to Leeds or Palace and bring in his Aberdeen replacement. Right back is the more pressing issue, but 3 at the back and sorba RWB seems to work well. Tomorrow is likely to be reactive rather than proactive, we have done all of the business we needed to do, the remaining is moving on and replacing long term injuries or last minute sales.

Having seen a few clips of Mipo now, he seems to have a very unusual technique where he often strikes the ball low, a lot of goals he scores are from distance but mainly seem to be on the ground.
Obviously, the clips were boys football but he isn't afraid to shoot with his "wrong" foot & the 2 goals he scored vs Southend were very encouraging.
Hope you have a great career, kid, start it off properly with us. If he is a success, premier teams will be looking to send us their top prospects, after ESR &, hopefully, Colwill.

Been reported in Scotland, oddly enough. Posted in the T&A
"Adams has played down reports from Scotland that Elliot Watt could be on the move.
The Daily Record claimed the midfielder is interesting Coventry and Huddersfield and the Bantams want £300,000."

Chalobah is another recent loanee who is now on the fringes on Chelsea’s first team Having these examples will lead to young players wanting to come here and clubs trusting us with their development as they know we’ll give them game at a very good level Likewise non league and lower league players will see what CC has done with Thomas and koroma and want to come here to improve

RB Leipzig are expecting an appeal from Leeds any time now but it could be another total waste - many clubs do it, its just we couldn’t afford it! www.football365.com/news/leeds-lose-case-leipzig-over-augustin-transfer

According to Twitter we're interested in Colby Bishop. Can't see us bringing in another striker?

According to Twitter we're interested in Colby Bishop. Can't see us bringing in another striker? He’s been excellent for Accrington. However, you’re probably right. If we were ever going to sign Bishop, it would have been at the start of the window before we signed Rhodes.
