I very much doubt it - will be his agent rustling up some interest. P.S - he’s below bang average

I'm not sure too sure about that. You only have to look at Town to see that a football club makes sure a youngsters education is paramount. The facilities they provide nowadays is second to none. town look after the academy lads as well as the senior lads as good as most that is fact My post wasn't necessarily a dig at Town (or any specific club), more a comment on football in general. I don't know a huge amount about Town's academy in terms of leavers, but I'd be very pleased if they did look after people properly.

You'd hope someone from Chelsea would be an upgrade on REG and RCN I would like to see a good permanent player signed in to the Centre back position giving us some dependability in this area. It is a difficult position to try out young player and not worth using on a player from Chelsea that they will expect him to play most games. Me too but I still want better and bigger CB's than the 2 R's

Colwill is left footed and Chritchlow probably needs a loan to play first team games, so it is possible. I must admit, I'm expecting the loan player to be a central midfield replacement for Eiting. Eiting has been posting pictures of himself training recently and he’s wearing his Town training kit still? Would love him back personally Depends where Ajax see his future. If they think he has a future there, they may want him to play at a higher level. If they don't and want to put him in a shop window to sell him, we may be in with a shout.

Would love him back personally as far as I am aware, we had a verbal agreement over Eiting but we have completely pulled the plug on it and decided to look elsewhere due to his injuries. Or in Phil's words 'his knees fucked'

Personally I wouldn't want another CB at town. We have Sarr, Keogh, Pearson, Noble, REG. Thats enough and we should be developing our own players before someone elses.
I can only see CMs coming in now, unless others are moved on

I can’t see REG playing unless we have an injury to Pearson or Sarr.
Quite happy to bring in reasonable back up if REG is going to a league 1 side and plays every week.

Even if he did, the one he's been offered is that of a mentor with occasional match time. We need another centre half unless both REG and Chritchlow both make the step up to be consistent first team players. Personally I'd look to get Chritchlow a loan deal where he plays first team games for at least the first half of the season.

Maybe we are looking for a more left footed centre back.

Maybe we are looking for a more left footed centre back. Think be the lad from Chelsea.left footed, most likely comes to play not warm the bench so maybe start the season with Pearson and cotwill with reg and sarr as backup/rotation/formation change options.been nothing further on the keogh thing,if he were to get another contract would imagine be the last backup option,if not chrichlow.if keogh does sign you would suggest a loan would be good for chrichlow. That’s my take on it anyway

Potentially Levi Colwill, the prem loan? 👀 That would make sense as someone mentioned 501’s earlier.

Levi Colwill cb from Chelsea? I don't think Town would be the best deal for any party there. We can't really afford to risk untried 18 year olds with the defence we had last season. Even if he's really good he'd be better off somewhere he'd have a chance to actually settle into playing. Centre mid is where we should be looking at for loanees

Makes sense if we are switching to 3 at the back.... which was quite effective at times last year without what you would consider the correct personnel

Possibly more of a right back than a centre back but very astute and reads the game well. I think he will play more this season.

Personally think the CBs we have our fine

Personally think the CBs we have our fine I just think we needed a left sided defender gives Carlos room to change things. What we need now is for the club to start putting the icing and trimmings on the cake.

If we do bring in a left-sided CB, then we simply HAVE to let Crichlow leave on loan. Half a season in Lg2, maybe 2nd half in Lg1 & hopefully he comes back ready for a regular first team berth.
