If they seriously identified Ward and Holmes as two players we needed for our first team they need sacking. Apparently Holmes was on our list for the summer...
What is our actual structure for scouting and recruitment?
We have a limited budget and Bromby pisses away £10 to 12k a week to these two wasters. Don’t let him waste anymore money!
Holmes’ interview... watch that back now, talking absolute bollocks.

It's rank amateurism top to bottom. I'd be surprised if the tea boy could make a decent cuppa.

Carlos is no doubt a lovely man, but clearly out of his depth. Get rid quick & appoint a new Manager asap, otherwise we are League 1 bound! - UTT.

The appointment of Bromby was one of the worse decisions we've made over the last few seasons.

The appointment of Bromby was one of the worse decisions we've made over the last few seasons. He's probably already lasted longer than the last 5 or 6 heads of football operations.

If we're sacking folk can we get rid of whoever keeps designing the overpriced shite in the club shop too.
And that kid that never sells me the winning golden gamble ticket.

He is the worse of the lot of them. He should have gone after the Simpson mess up as he showed then he isn't fit for the role, L2 level at best.

No surprise we can’t get a decent transfer deal over the line with Bromby overseeing them. Totally out of his depth.

So that's Phil & Dean, Marsh & Bromby, half the team, and with all the out of contract players this summer that leaves Schofield and a load of kids!

Wilson > Webber > Moss > Rebbe > Webb > Bromby
It’s hardly what progress looks like.

The appointment of Bromby was one of the worse decisions we've made over the last few seasons. If they'd have just taken a bit more time and not appointed Webb as a second choice knee jerk reaction to fans demands for a DOF then things may have turned out rather different. Or maybe not.

If Phil wants to save brass then Bromby has to go. Were signing players that have asked to come back, that's not scouting that's picking your mates.
Also, if Holmes was on our list for the summer then that's pretty obvious we've not learnt a single lesson throughout this whole shambles. Signing ineffective, weak, lightweight players hasn't exactly proven to be a successful recruitment model.

Bromby seems a decent bloke but how can you appoint someone to head of football operations in the championship when all the CV contains is is academy coaching roles. This role has to deal with complex negotiations for elite players and has to know that side of the game inside out. How could he have had that experience as an academy coach? Just feels like he’s in way over his head, the same impression you get with Phil unfortunately.

The issue with our club over the last few years is the revolving door with these key positions. We failed to keep hold of the good ones and appointed too many poor ones.

I'm not sure what you are getting out, are you saying getting Webb wrong means it alright getting Bromby wrong does it? Since Webber left that position was never properly sorted. Outside looking in I feel sorry for the guys in the recruitment department as it seems like so little is invested in it.

Knee jerk it took them 8 months to appoint him. Am all for a thorough process but tbh you are getting somebody to be in charge of your core business, the most important department of your business. You shouldn’t be inviting applications as a team fresh out the prem you should’ve head hunting the best out there based on the criteria you want. Webb oversaw the only good transfer window we have had in 2 and a half years!

Wilson > Webber > Moss > Rebbe > Webb > Bromby It’s hardly what progress looks like. Went off a cliff after the first three there. We’d have been better not appointing the last last few. Still no idea why Moss left, he had a belting window after promotion.

Still no idea why Moss left, he had a belting window after promotion. Came in a threw his weight around amongst Wagner and the coaching staff, like he was a proper DOF who was above the manager. As Wagner had just delivered the unthinkable, and that wasn’t Moss’s remit, he was binned.
