I was merely pointing out 11 out of 14 posts were about her looks rather than the job she was doing . Not sure that I was trying to put myself on a pedestal with that comment? It was a factual observation . I've now added to it it's now about 15-18 . Don't you think it's interesting? "As if it was a badge of honour " . That's how you interpreted it. If I recall me recalling if had sex with women was a factual statement also. Certainly not a brag. Doesn't make me proud at all . But the act of having sex isn't sexist. I wonder if Ms Kennerdale is equally consenting to requests to ‘service’ old men as reward for having the hard work in her chosen career recognised? The Cowshed Loyal, or NSL as it was at the time would never of got to where it has had it not have been for staff like Robyn. Herself, Rachel and Boothy fought fearlessly for the fans to have more freedoms in the stadium during that first couple of years. She was a pivotal voice in getting things such as the south stand and the new segregation system we have in the south stand. Also at a time when the safety policies which made any form of flags, displays, banners or any other tifo impossible, possible, by working with the fans and the safety action group as well as John Robinson on trying to find middle ground. The club has some gems working in its ranks behind the scenes, I hope they understand that and not forget the efforts that staff like Robyn Kennerdale & Rachel Taylor have gone to to give fans a better match day experience. Please, for gods sake, "of got" have got. Yes I am an old pillock but of got doesn't make sense. |

As Robyn’s job is Town’s ‘Supporter Services Manager’, I wouldn’t be surprised if she regularly reads this forum and may even have an account so that she can track, monitor and react to supporter views/opinions/moods. A thread with her name on would more than likely draw her attention. So, one would wonder at her thoughts when reading some of the comments that have been made, regardless of the banterous excuses some of us men make in that it’s harmless and meant as a compliment.
She’s recently celebrated 15 years working at Town so is one of the un-heralded behind-the-scenes cogs that keeps the club ticking over. One or two on this small thread attest at the positive things she has done and instrumental in some of the changes that have happened for us the fans.
Having made the original post, with a link to an interview that celebrated her abilities and contribution to Town, I was hoping, perhaps a little naively, that the comments would reflect this rather than degenerate into something a little less base, particularly in these more enlightened times.
Apologies for going off on one, but as the father of two daughters, both young women now, some of the misogynistic abuse that they get and tell me about when out and about or at work from leery boys/men/old men puts me a little on the defensive.

Good to see opportunities given by the club and seems to be doing well with the job too. She could emulate Karren Brady one day (not hard to do looks wise anyway Robyn is a million times better).
