We just might see history repeating itself Yip, remember that day well.. think Town were “relegated “ several times at various points that day but thankfully survived. Town having survived, it was good to see Barnsley survive at the expense of Peterborough, who are still in League 1. One thing for sure, It’s never boring being a fan of Huddersfield Town !

One of my worst memories in 50 years of watching Town was the nauseating scenes at the end of that game. That’s not what football is about 🤮

One of my worst memories in 50 years of watching Town was the nauseating scenes at the end of that game. That’s not what football is about 🤮 We're Yorkshire. We're Yorkshire. Applaud the away fans, etc.

Then we wouldn’t have had to put up with gobshite Flitcroft snatching the mic off Tog and grabbing the limelight. Awful scenes.

That’s not what football is about 🤮 A lot less nauseating than when Kane went off It was pathetic beyond words. All that applauding opposition players, the endless losing, the never scoring, the repetitive passing it across the back 4, the total lack of attacking threat, blatantly biased reffing, those bloody clappers, and whole the state the club has been left in... never has the phrase better to travel than to arrive been more apt.

One of my worst memories in 50 years of watching Town was the nauseating scenes at the end of that game. That’s not what football is about 🤮 What is it about? When you look at ‘professional’ fouls, time wasting, diving, taking the ball in the corner when you are protecting your position, and loads more. That wasn’t so bad for me.

Pre-Premier League, that's what it's about and Post-Premier League is probably about the time most of those things you mention came into the game more and more ie when money and winning (in the league) at all costs took over everything else ie entertainment, fair play, the FA Cup etc In fact it's probably about time the media started referring to pre and post Premier League as opposed to pre-war and post-war, it's 76 years since the end of WW2 now and the effect of the PL on football has been more far reaching than the war was I reckon.
