Has anyone seen any rumours on what the new kits might be like besides blue and white stripes? There are some great kits abroad been shown , hope away kits Bob on! My son loves the Ajax 3rd kit Bob Marley inspired.

Well firstly strip colours I wouldn’t want as they’d remind me of the disaster that (almost) was 2021 footy wise. Definately not Blue as the performances left me feeling that colour ! Not Jade either as the players constantly looked well... Jade-d ! And not indigo as our opponents cheered in-d-go, an (unwanted) record 71 times every time the ball nestled in our net ! And not chalk white as I felt sick with the results in 2021 !
Colours I might want... Green (shoots of growth and recovery), Frosted Steel (mirrored by the players please), and Totally Nutmeg (what I want the players to do regularly to opponents) perhaps Gold (sign that nugget) !
How about Town signing a Silk type player called Matt that will Shine and produce some Polished performances that have a beautiful Sheen to them, make the opposition Bristle and Brush them aside !
That will give us Town fans something to Gloss over !

hopefully same as for home kit, whereas I think we need to revert back to the flourescent yellow/green of yesteryear for the away kit.

Surely the Ben Shaws one has to be Space Special washing up liquid green?

Some outstanding designs there. The Club should utilise Peter’s clearly obvious talent and ask him to design the home, away and 3rd kits. Probably too late for the coming season, but I’ve no idea how quick these things are done.

Always thought we should do this every season,, Have 6 different strips/designs to choose from and let the fans vote which they want,,, Cant be hard to do can it ?

My local club Dumbarton let the fans vote every season. It’s a very good idea giving something back to the fans. This season (2020/21) the home and away kit were very classy, a good choice by the fans, myself included. The Sons o’ the Rock have however had a multitude of variations of home kit over the years something that doesn’t sit well with me. That caper is for away / third tops in my humble opinion, therefore we’ll done Town for largely sticking with the classy blue and white stripes through their history, the blue tops (few seasons apart in the 60’s and 70’s) apart. I’m not in the habit of slagging Town, however the blue shorts fiasco of the final season at Leeds Road and the Peterborough play off final was a DISGRACE. Huddersfield Town ARE NOT Sheffield Wednesday, never have been and never will be and to try to copy their colours was preposterous and I hope I never witness such folly ever again as long as I live. HTAFC are a stand alone club. Yorkshire’s finest ! Let’s keep it that way, therefore classy blue and white stripes, white shorts home kit ALWAYS please, tho I’m open to socks being occasionally switched from black to white or vice versa.

I consider the classic Dumbarton kit to be all white with 2 thin black and one gold hoop on the shirt. Correct? Agree on the blue shorts for Town - just wrong!

Yes, I've always championed it. I have actually contributed significantly to the HTAFC section. No matter which club you support there's something of interest there.

This is by no means a criticism of your input, but the next time you speak with to them about the HTAFC section can you ask them to amend the manufacturer for either 84/85 and/or 85/86 as i'm sure at least one of these kits was manufactured by 'Star' not 'Bukta'? (perhaps someone else can remember more accurately)?

I have several press and team photographs from around that period and can find no examples of 'Star', nor can I ever recall it. Edit: hang on... Do you mean this kit?
It's 1985/86 and looks like it could be a white star on the blue stripe. You could be right then....

You know, just once, instead of being pompous and posting that head butting emoji, you could admit you were wrong and say sorry. 'Huddersfield Town in the Past PLC' doesn't exclusively belong to you. You don't know it all. And minor spelling mistakes don't matter - this ain't the TES.
