You missed off the bit where you tell me that you want me to have it at a fraction of that price! Lucky I can read between the lines. DM me and we’ll sort it out. 😉 Sorry bud. Been chasing one down for a long, long time. They do not come up very often at all. Not sure how many were released? I’d add you’ve put the word out there. Someone might be keen to get some money in and have one to sell but they don’t come cheap as only a few were available to buy. Good luck!

(Style 1) Would be awesome away/ 3rd top. I like it. Very slick ! (Style 2) Certainly NOT (as a home top like 60-70 part seasons) no use away as Peterborough in C’ship. (Style 3) Not for home top, too dark like Wendy’s - (away) would be like like Leeds.. We are neither of them. (Style 4) Black one would be ok away / 3rd.. Orange one is a carbon copy of Scholfield 2020/21 uniform (Badge apart) Good to see Town design ideas have reached the far away lands of Botswana !

Style two with a nice shade of blue for the stripes as per the last promotion season kit, would be good.
The rest are utter gash. As is the blue and white version of Brentford’s current kit. We need thinner stripes than this season’s effort too.
Moan over 😂

First two look like they were made in 1992.
Three is boring (why does a team have an all white away kit when their home kit is blue and white?).
4th style potentially a decent away kit.

Why I always laugh at Celtic - amount of seasons I’ve seen their home kit as green and white , away kit as green and third kit as white .

When there's only 11 other teams in the league and one of them wears a home kit of green and white. Good planning!

I like the first one and with a bit of adaptation it could be a good basis for town. i.e. change the black for a darker blue we will have our blue and white stripes with a two tone blue, it will be a little different to what we have had before but this could symbolise our rebirth!

The Celtic home kit is unique in world football and they wouldn’t need an away top unless they were playing Yeovil ! But money and all that, and they have had some hideous away / 3rd tops over the years (and one or two good ones). Rangers I’d say are the polar opposite, their home top is bland, and very common in the UK but they’ve had some smart efforts in the away / 3rd top catagory. Of course the tribal lunacy that pollutes the clubs curtails their options. Rangers abhor anything green, Celtic won’t have anything blue and their fans also hate orange. Doesn’t always work out the way they want though. Rangers fans have to suffer a green pitch on a weekly basis, and in the early 90’s when they were in Rangers shadow Celtic were desperate for any cash and could only get a car sales company whose livery colours were orange lettering with a blue Ford motif at the top. To make matters worse, the name of the company was People’s and Rangers have a war cry that They are the people. Cue much wailing from The Hoops fans at the time. The petty things that upset some folks ! I still love to visit Glasgow, but I’m glad to be away from that caper on a daily these days...thankfully !

Or Racing de Santander. Or Lechia Gdansk. Or TNS, or Konyaspor who all have green and white hoops. All clubs they could meet in European competition. Do Bradford Park Avenue still play in green and white hoops too?! Or Hibs or QPR, or others with kits like those.

Speaking of kits, I am absolutely gagging for the 91-93 (?) black 'teabag' mesh Gola sponsored third kit. It's my Town strip holy grail and I'm (rather naively) refusing to accept the going rate for them is £750, as per the only one I can find listed anywhere. I know I won't be the only one after it but if anyone knows of any others going or anyone has one they're interested in selling, drop me a message

I think these are okay but unfortunately it's irrelevant how nice the kit is when the absolutely horrific cres(t) that Hoyle lumped us with will be stuck on the front of it.

They don't tend to re-use templates between teams but I like most of these. Style 1 recoloured could be a throwback to the classic mid 90s pulse kit, which I'd buy as all of our kits have been very similar the last 10 years or so.

Don't we usually just get the same kit Bournemouth had the previous season, except in Blue and White? If so we'd expect something like this this time.....

We've only had 3 umbro kits on this deal and none of them look particularly Bournemouthy in terms of the stripe pattern.

One of the many oddities of the 'looks good with blue jeans' era of kit manufacturing

Does anyone else associate terrible kits with relegation seasons? I’m thinking the Voi monstrosity when we went out from Lge One to Lge Two, think we went into admin that Summer? 2002-2003. Special mentions to 2007-08, 2015-16, & 2017-18 (not relegation seasons but eyesore kits imo). www.historicalkits.co.uk/Huddersfield_Town/Huddersfield_Town.htm

I think Celtic actually drew Sporting Lisbon in Europe when I was in high school, I seem to remember the footy guys in our year being half asleep in class next day as the match didn’t finish till 11pm (GMT) for some reason. It didn’t affect me as I always went to bed late anyway. It’s vague memories now, but I think that in the return Leg Celtic won 5-0, and they played in the AWAY top at Parkhead. Ironically similar to their current away version. I think they may have played Shamrock Rovers in Europe years later, but not sure of kit arrangement for that colour clash. Greenock Morton have a very similar kit to QPR and Hibs to Plymouth Argyle.

Park ave not played in hoops for a few seasons, last seasons was white with green collar. Season before they were sponsored by utilita.

The thing is, without evidence nothing gets amended or added. I have several press and team photographs from around that period and can find no examples of 'Star', nor can I ever recall it. Edit: hang on... Do you mean this kit?
It's 1985/86 and looks like it could be a white star on the blue stripe. You could be right then.... That was definitely Star Sports, when I came out of the Junior Sunday League and into adult football with Berry Brow they'd bought the home and away kits from Town at the end of the season Bloody hell are you Geoff Ladbroke

I hope we don't have the underpants style collar we had last season. Looked like a pair of Pritchards Y fronts on the front of the shirt.

I did not know it was dumped on us by Hoyle, I thought it had been roughly the same for years, i am not one for pageantry , and Coates of arms, what would you like to see on the shirts?, back to the H.T.F.C lettering?, I have never been keen on anything to do with the terriers. up the town for me.

I’m always amazed at this conversation. Happens every season
Why any adult is remotely interested in a football kit is beyond me. I’ve only ever bought one, the first polyester one, think it was barralan, I was about 12.
Other thing. Why the chuff do we have 3 kits every season.
Surely with a bit of thought and an alternative short colour we could just have 2 shirt???
