Kit announced Friday, third kit is “turquoise”. Don’t take this as gospel but it’s a decent enough source

Yeah it appeared on numerous stuff. I had a promotional milk bottle with it on, empty of course, it also appeared on programmes too. It was widely used but never was the official badge, certainly never appeared on shirts. Surely its most prominent outing was on the cover of the 75 Years On book. That's what I always associate it with. terrier looks like he's been hanging out with mellow!

Isnt it just children that get excited about a new football kit? I remember in the 70s' getting my first England kit and tracksuit, the admiral one,I was excited then,,but do some grown ups still get like that?

Heard from a good source today that we have ditched blue and white stripes I’d quite enjoy this, if only for the amusement I’d get at reading the comments on DATM! 🤣

Not many better kits than the England Admiral one that you mention. I still look forward to the announcement of the new kit, it’s part of pre season and i always get one…… I’m not travelling to the Wembley play off final without my shirt!

I remember reading not long since that this is one of the least popular England shirts ever, so it looks like you might be in a minority. But then - who cares?

Not sure what Digs thinks but the one I had in mind was slightly earlier and had long sleeves with red and blue stripes down the side. Totally understand re lack of sales of the shirt, they weren’t a thing that supporters bought in those days.

As far as England shirts go I’d say all time favourite is gazza Italia 90 home shirt or any of the three from that time. I’ve just acquired the so called new order blue top recently. Mexico 86 and euro 96 all nice shirts. Probably nostalgia playing tricks on me ole brain!

Heard from a good source today that we have ditched blue and white stripes Heard from an unimpeachable source we've gone for neon pink string vests. Hoggy's idea apparently.

I think there's probably been better kits, but for me as a kid kicking a ball around wearing it was magical, even though Scotland were probably better than us,the Home Internationals were brilliant to watch it's a shame we dont still have them,

Fact - the 10 Tudor (red and white) roses represent the 10 regional divisional members who sit on the FA Council.
Currently...
1. D Robinson (2007), Tow Law Town FC 2. R Coar (2001), Blackburn Rovers FC 3. A Shaw (2009, 2012), Altrincham FC 4. F Robinson (2016), Burton Albion FC 5. S Pearce (2016), Derby County FC 6. A Neville (2013), Leicester City FC 7. S Webb (2014), Ipswich Town FC 8. C Reeves (2012), Poole Town FC 9. A Sharpe (2017), Wingate & Finchley FC 10. JD Pearce (2001), Bognor Regis Town FC
It's really weird how they're all rubbish inconsequential football clubs. Except Altrincham.
