Buendia will be Barkley's replacement. Grealish will surely be on his way this summer though and ESR is one of the more realistic targets for them who could at least halfway replace him.

Buendia and ESR? Grealish on his way? Hope its not to man city, would hate to see a player like him made into a robot by pep I'm not sure I'd class Foden, Mahrez or Silva as robots. He didn't do much harm to Messi or Neymar either.

Name me one flair player he's managed who he has stifled. Just one. It's fine to irrationally hate Man City without shit talking one of the greatest coaches the game has ever seen you know.

I reckon Grealish is Man Utd bound personally Can’t see it myself, Sancho and a centre half seem like their key priorities and Grealish will be big big money. Rumours that Bernado Silva wants away, can see Grealish going to City alongside as Kane. Crikey they really will be some side next year

Ridiculous comment..? No, It's a general comment based on personal opinion really - as a neutral I don't particularly enjoy watching peps city. But I'll name muller just to start with.. look at bayern pre-pep and during - Heynckes had them as a free flowing counter attacking team with muller and robben running riot, their instinct was to score goals... Pep's first and foremost is to keep possession, although his front 5 do have some license to interchange they are generally expected to cover a zone of the pitch. Which, as shown, will ultimately lead to goals/success. He's a great coach, but that doesnt mean every player plays to their full (entertaining to watch) potential. I'm not saying he would turn into a bad player, he would be great there, but i'd personally prefer to see him playing in a different set-up. Pep always has/signs exceptionally talented footballers, so there is always flair and great technical ability in his teams, but not sure how anyone can argue they arent a highly drilled machine. IMO this is why his teams are generally better across a season of league football than they are in knock out style cup games, where idividuals tend to win games. Pep has had the best players/squad for almost every CL season he competes in and hasnt won one in 10 years - why? Because he won't change. He doesnt adapt his tactics and without an unbelievable player like messi he's yet to have his players show that bit of individual brilliance required to win the biggest trophy in the game. Grealish reminds me of a player from the past, who should have a team built around him, he should drift around the pitch in a fast counter attacking team. I'd rather see him play under ferguson, for example, than Pep. Is that ridiculous or shit talking him? Nope

But, then again he wants to leave to win trophies. With 3-4 quality signings Man Utd, will be up there again.

Grealish is off to City. Please feel free to come back to this post if he doesn’t. I think so too but guess it depends on kane. They wont buy both i dont think, as much as grealish would fit in and improve city, given who they have there would kane improve them more? Likely. I suppose it depends on guardiolas plans, if he wants to move on soon kane would prob be his choice. The smart longterm plan for the manc teams would be let the other sign kane, get grealish and sign haaland next summer. Think although city would run away with it for a couple of seasons if they got kane, that would see it even it out more in the longterm. So knowing united, they splash out on kane and hes crocked in a year. With city getting the other 2 and continuing the dominance

I can’t see how Arsenal could let ESR go. He was one of only a couple of stand out players for Arsenal last season. If Grealish moves, ESR is an obvious replacement but there aren’t many that can replace him at Arsenal, no Champions League football so forget any big name move.

Nope If youd quantified your initial statement with an explanation like above then fair enough, but without it then it just came across as a lazy opinion borne from suspected dislike for Man City. I don't necessarily agree with all of it but I respect your opinion on it far more now! Apart from the bit about United getting closer to City that is. The only thing United need to be closer to is the bottom of the table. Can't stand that fucking club.

I'd rather see him play under ferguson, for example, than Pep. Is that ridiculous or shit talking him? Nope I don't really agree with a lot of that but it's your opinion so fair enough. The one thing I would completely disagree on is the not winning the Champions League because he won't change and doesn't adapt his tactics part. If anything when you look at when he's gone out of the Champions League/lost a final it's because he's had some bright idea in the week and he does change what they've been doing or how they've been lining up. Against Chelsea he lined up with neither Rodri or Fernandinho, only the 2nd time he'd done it all season. Against Lyon he decided to play 3 at the back and not play any of D.Silva, B.Silva, Mahrez or Foden for the first time in 57 games. You can keep going back and he nearly always does something odd when he just needs to do nothing really.
