I read it twice. Can’t remember a single word he said!
Saying ‘there’s nothing new, we’re just all getting on with our jobs’ would have been far easier but the fans would have moaned, so he has to waste his time writing lots but saying nothing and we all waste our time reading it.
All hail the modern world.

All hail the modern world. Word for word for anyone who can't be bothered to click >> "We signed some players but they're all pretty shit and will need a LOT of coaching. We're probably going to sell some good players and buy some more shitty ones, but that's life. Some players are out of contract next summer and we don't have options (such as Koroma, Sarr, Vallejo, Crichlow), so we've made them derisory offers to extend inline with our status as a low budget Championship club, and if they don't accept we'll be looking to get them sold as soon as possible so we can get £50 for them. We have to keep bringing in players for free and selling players for a fee - otherwise we're going to run out of money. Glad everyone liked the shirt. To be honest we just said, "make a blue and white striped shirt, and we really want to avoid anything vaguely outlandish, people cried when the Paddy Power shirt fake launched and they still haven't recovered. We met some of our commercial and hospitality partners - sorry, let me reword that...we invited otium (EPBS) to "meet the directors". It was quite a pleasant evening and we got some tips on bringing in players from Poland in 35 years when there's a referendum and we rejoin the EU. We're planning on opening up for full crowd access for the first game, there should be plenty of room for social distancing anyway - I'd just like to make it clear that when we're told we can't, its not our fault. Ticket sales have been a bit of a trickle...but we'll open up the ticket office on Saturday just in case. Can't wait for next season...and I just don't like wearing a Hudds Town tie, ok." Actually came across ok...nothing much to report that we don't know. Its a football club.

Phil's plan is to scratch out another year in the Championship, zero fecks given how it happens.

Devlin Jul-20: it’s important we bring in players who play high pressing, fast paced attacking football to fit Carlos’ style
We never did this
Devlin Jun-21: “it’s key to give the players as much time as possible to adapt to our style of play.”
So we’ve given up on trying to find players to suit Carlos’ supposed preferred style?
And instead we’ll bring who we can in and try adapt them to our style?
This approach is beyond me - Carlos has been trying to do that and failed miserably like a fish out of water for the last 9 months - why will it be any different now?
We either 1. Recruit to fit Carlos’ style or 2. If not - What is the point of Carlos being here? Are we just hoping he walks?

Surprised more hasn’t been more of the this. Sounds like we’re gearing up to sell a number of our better players in coming weeks. Have no faith we’ll replace them.

Purely sentimental, I’ll miss Hoggy when he goes. Of course I’d agree re Hoggy. It hasn’t helped of course that we haven’t seen them play live for so long. But even allowing for this it’s certainly the first time that if I had to answer the question “who’s your favourite Town player” I’d have to say “I haven’t got one”

Unashamedly a selling club is what that says. They are upfront about it. I am no longer bothered who we sell. I fear we will be in a similar thin squad position, just those brought in as back up become the first teamers. Any half decent offer for Pipa, O'Brien, Toffolo, Koroma they are off. Amy offer for Bacuna and Mbenza they are off pray Town. I have renewed for my own sanity to hope to see live games, not through any love of how the club operates.
