It is good the SWindon fans liked Crichlow but also interesting to note in one of the last posts there where someone put up some Cambridge fans comments, the Cambridge lot picked him out too (Swindon no 5) Swindon fans say Jack Payne was man of the match. Good to see he is doing well.

Critchlow got MOM yesterday.
One of their fans commented ‘ MOTM Critchlow. If he isn't playing premier league football in 5 years, I'll eat someone's hat.’

Just from looking at team sheets for their matches, seems like:
Crichlow is doing really well, played every game (?), kept a few clean sheets and Swindon are near the top of the league. REG started one of the first games and had struggled to get back in the team. Daly is getting minutes off the bench and has started one or two. Phillips been getting a lot of minutes, hasn’t managed to score yet.

Seems Krasniqi is mostly on the bench at Falkirk, but getting some first team action nonetheless. Technically he got an assist for Falkirk's 3rd goal (from 7:20):

Crichlow seems to be doing really well at Swindon. He went off injured yesterday though apparently.

This year’s loans seem to be going really well. Wonder if we’re insisting on a certain % of game time?
Hopefully the start of a successful model of developing players in the B team and loans every year.
Strange that austerfield hasn’t had one when he seemed on the edge of the first team last year.

Where is Jones, injured? Looked promising last year.

Must admit that Austerfield is the name that stands out for me too. I remember being impressed with him in the preseason friendlies just over a year ago & would have expected him to be getting some first team minutes but other than a 1 month loan spell at Hyde Utd in the 7th tier I'm not aware of any other.
He turns 20 this week, so whilst there's still time for him to develop - although he does seem quite slightly built last time I saw him, maybe he'll be a late developer simply because of his physical stature as he fills out later.

REG played in the FA Cup today for Rotherham as they beat 10-man Bromley 3-0.
Matty Daly played for Hartlepool & bagged 2 assists in their 2-2 draw with Wycombe
Kieran Phillips came off the bench for Walsall in their 1-0 win over King's Lynn.
Jake Chapman played for Gateshead in their 2-2 draw with Altrincham
Romoney Crichlow was not included in Swindon's squad for their FA Cup game vs Crewe, which they won 3-0.

Daly's two assists:
I have to admit I'd begun to lose hope that this lad would make it, but just lately I'm seeing reason for optimism about a lad who might yet be the answer to our problem of creativity in midfield.

I hadn't noticed but Dave Challinor resigned as manager of Hartlepool at the start of the month. Good to see that the caretaker boss still selected Daly & that he rewarded him with a couple of assists, but I hope whoever comes in will continue to develop him.
