Christ (or any other Deity) on a jetski, this shit has gone from someone being banned from an internet forum into threats of legal action, publication of home addresses, defending homophobic posters and other fucking shit. If anyone cares, I'm starting a new forum called Clown at the Mac, describing the antics of a failed circus performer struggling to grasp the issues of moving from Android to Apple products. If anyone wants my address to visit, feel free to ask as Royal Mail and DPD can't find the fucking place so good luck to you all!

I hope all the posters on here who have driven and supported this campaign regarding Otium’s ban now understand why we need rules. This is what happens when posters start to pillory people who voluntarily try to just keep a measure of balance on a football message board.
If any of you think posting the address of @bigdaddyg on a public message board having whipped up opinion against him is in any way acceptable then this place has sunk to a level I did not think possible.
Stop this shit now.

Can’t say as I’d miss his arsey contributions if he never reappeared here again - something that I can’t honestly level at Walter Mittium. I don’t know if some of you realise, but we live in an age where even some of the more traditional / longer-standing news outlets like the Mail regularly print stories based on things they’ve found on social media - I’ve clicked on articles before that are just a wholesale re-telling of a post some randomer has made on Reddit.
If the mods allowed these more ‘contentious’ posts to run rampant, it probably wouldn’t be long before someone latched onto it (even worse, a Leeds fan), and instead of a handful of Town supporters being pissed off with each other, it could end up with the club’s name being dragged through the mud.
I’m new to the club and these forums, and I wouldn’t expect to have a say in how we should project our image to the outside world, but there’s very few forums on any subject where this kind of thing would fly, and for more wide reaching reasons than grudges or political disagreements between individuals.

Fair do’s, nobody ever wanted anything in return but he seems to have a very short memory in treating many of those fans (such as the admin concerned) in such a disgusting and unacceptable way.

I was dismayed at the decision to ban Otium and criticised the admins, calling it a ‘c***’s trick.’ Now this happens and I’ve run out of hyperbole. I know you didn’t directly put personal information on the site, but you instigated it and you are the conduit to this truly appalling behaviours. As a grown man, you really should know better. I cannot fathom how you feel you can defend what’s happened within hours of setting up your own forum. FWIW, I thought it was a good idea but it has had about a successful start as GB News! Unfair criticism, Public information about a Company correspondence address is just that, nothing more. |
