I suspect most of you rather expected that result today 😡 Still well placed though and we did you a favour today beating Millwall Luton going like a train. Mad Nathan had money to spend couldn’t do anything right at Stoke. Goes back to Luton and gets them into the top three while spending bugger all. Very strange We all know footie is a strange game, Luton are on fire as you say, interesting month n a bit ahead!!.

He spent at least 2m on the lad from Walsall, which relatively is not a lot but it's probably 25% of their budget. Im not sure what he spent elsewhere on the squad but the best team in the play offs is going to be forest coached by ugly Steve. Without question he is the best signing in the division this year. Good coach and I think they will go up in the play offs or next year.

Providing some their better players dont leave, teams who are good one season can be abject the next, thats why when people say we're not ready to go up are talking nonesense, if the chance comes along grab it and bugger the consequences good or bad.

One or two Tykes of my acquaintance were saying, towards the end of last season, that they didn't want promotion as they didn't fancy getting beaten week in week out.

Well that’s another of your rivals we’ve seen off !
To be honest the Blades were really poor considering what they had to play for
Can’t see you failing now. Just a matter of who you’ll play

Yes it’s still a mystery how a squad which should really be top four at least in this league just can’t perform. But that’s football isn’t it.

Good, it's now squeaky bum time I guess, but glad town are at the top end of the table. To have got there without a recognised striker who can hold it up in a 433 is nothing short of a miracle really.

Weve got a lot of records to our name, if we went up would we get another, to do it with the cheapest squad? Or would Blackpool take that honour?.

February 2021 to Jnauary this year, Derby £750,000 and Luton £560,000ish, im only making the comparison as it highlights the parasites within the game, Derby will probably go down and Luton have a good chance of making the playoffs.

Derby are a total train crash. A big part of me wants them to be relegated, but another part of me also wants Rooney to do well as a manager as he seems to have come far as a person in the last few years. Im torn, but anyway, spending 750k on agents fees the year before blowing up along with all the other mismanagement there is totally embarrassing for them.

All very interesting, and I'm fascinated to see what all the fuss is about Forest.
