As in. In percentage terms, how good are your knees? If you are 70, the highest answer possible is 40. Knees are good considering the hammer they’ve had over the years. Still managing to get me round the golf course three times a week 😊

UTT. We used to have an Oatcake golf day for a few years. We even got some ex players to come and one year I played 18 holes with the great Gordon Banks As for disappointments I’m not sure what I’ve had most at Football or Golf so another one today won’t be to hard to swallow 😊

Did you ever see Stanley Chadders? (just about young enough). Yes I saw him play in 61/62 I think just before he retired when he was 51 (and they think Ronaldos great because he’s playing at 36 )😊 As a youngster I was really looking forward to seeing the great man. His autobiography (might have been a biography, can't remember) was the first "proper" book I ever read. Can, even to this day, remember how disappointed I was to get to Leeds Rd only to find he wasnt playing. He was the king.

Where do you sit in the ground Chadders? I'm in with you lot as I'm going with a Stoke fan from work. We are in the Tile Mountain Stand.

Always a risky strategy for watching a game as someone is getting some reyt stick post match. Last time I encountered this was when I let my Man United supporting mate come and see us turn his overpaid team over. I've never enjoyed walking away from the stadium as much as that day, regardless of the monsoon that was going on. I even prolonged the misery by taking him to the Head of Steam for a celebratory sing song. He never even bothered asking for a ticket the season after 😆

Fortunately I do tax for a living, so am dour enough to 😄

Not seen a relay yet but looked like a bit of comedy gold from your defender 😊 Thought we just about shaded a poor game Neither keeper had much to do If I was a Town fan I’d probably be disappointed at not getting a point
Anyway top three for us but we need to get back to our earlier performance levels if we want to stay there
Barnsley at home midweek so we might crack the top two
NB.
That Naby Sarr is a bloody big unit
Now I’m off for my birthday piss up 😊

Is chadders about! Great result for your boys! Thought a draw would have been fairer! Honestly thought we were just about the better side. But there certainly wasn’t much in it and we wouldn’t really have much to complain about if it was draw. But that’s football isn’t it. Sometimes it’s very fine margins

I've just got back, enjoyed some good banter in my mate's Dad's local in Kidsgrove, just the result that was disappointing, though I thought we did enough to get a draw.
Hope you, Chadders, & Rory Stanley enjoyed both the day & the win. All the best pal.

Although the football on show left a lot to be desired Admitidly it could of gone either way and was probably always going to be decided by a mistake as neither side was looking very dangerous in front of goal.

Looks like chadders got rose-tinted sunglasses for his birthday present. Infogol (for better or worse) suggests the result was a bit of a travesty and that Town deserved not just a point but all 3. Expected goals 0.53 v 1.66 Difficult to legislate for an unforced own goal.

UTT At this stage of the season I'm more concerned about performances than results. Performances give an indication of the results you're likely to get for the rest of the season. As for what that means for our chances this season, still too early to tell. There's some quality & some utter dross in this division & so far we've lost to the former & beaten the latter. Suggests mid-table which I'd have taken in a heartbeat a few weeks ago.

Not saying we’re going to challenge but we look strong with our best starting 11 and also CC has options which he certainly didn’t have last season. The stick he got was way over the top for me as anyone could see that last season we had a decent starting 11 but not much after that.
