A bit annoyed that we missed out on Solanke. I thought Wagner's bond with Klopp would have clinched it. Bad luck Chadders, a draw would have been fair. He’d be long gone by now tbf if he’d come here. Maybe so, but I bet we'd have made a tidy profit along the way. Compare that with the disastrous outcome of some of our other signings.

Chadders I thought it was a similar game to the one against us, in the respect neither team, IMO, did enough to win but that's football, you got a lucky 3 pts vs us & were unlucky to lose last night.
However, I'm sure both of our fan bases must be delighted at where we both are at this stage in the season. Onwards & upwards & I hope you're keeping well, mate.

As shit as some of out signings were, Bournemouth paid £19m for him. Doesn't leave much wiggle room for a profit, especially when you've gone down a league and you factor in the supply and team he'd likely have played in in the last 2 years if he was here. Good player though and finally hitting his stride now.

Never mind, at least we got Diahkaby and Mbenza!

He's come good this season. He did ok (in their expensive squad) last season with 15 goals and scored 4 from 36 in the EPL 2 seasons ago. Would there really be a tidy profit to be made currently? Surely he has to prove it in the Prem first.

What plucky little Baldmuff paid for Solanke and Ibe along with what Leicester paid for Ward just about covered what the bin dippers spent getting Salah, so he was, in effect, a freebie

Better mid table mediocrity than what we've both had to endure in recent seasons.
See you next May for a beer at Wembley Chadders 😅

Chadders, how did the wheels come off today? Gut wrenching draw. 65 minutes gone 3-0 up and wondering how many we will end up with 71 minutes they’re level and going for the winner A team that’s lost eight on the trot while scoring only 2 suddenly slots on 3 in six minutes We’ve dropped 10 points from winning positions this season Looks like a lack of bottle Good to see you hanging in on the top 6 Still another round of games in the week so hopefully we can crawl our way back

Not much between us though and I don’t think either team will be top six at the end.

Good to see Cardiff finding form just before they play us.... They were absolutely awful. Everyone in the crowd was saying they’re the worst side we’ve seen this year Doesn’t say much for us does it

Strangely nothing in the Prem … though we were linked with bloody Divock Origi At the start of that December we were 14th and had Solanke and Drinkwater lined up to join in Jan. By the end of that month we were in bottom 3, Mounie sent off, pen at Cardiff shenanigans, Mooy injured, African Nations Cup looming etc Then they didn't join and Wagner fooked off....

I might be wrong here, but I seem to vaguely remember a match at Oakwell when Barnsley were 3 up in stoppage time and it finished 3-3. Might have been Ipswich?

Best come back In recent memory has to be us v Scuntorpe, 2-1 down with 5 mins to go,,,,McAliskey has the best 5 mins of his career and we wind out winners playing with 9 men!

Do I remember rightly a match where we were 4-0 down against Bradford at half time and drew 4-4 ? I also can’t quite remember the outcome of the match where Bradford went racing into an early lead (including Waddle scoring direct from a corner) - did we win that 3-2. Memory not what it once was…

The beast of them all, Charlton 7-6 Us. We hold the record for scoring the most goals in a losing match.
