OP deleted his/her account. Lovers of free speech but only when it’s speech they agree with. He won't be able to announce the results in a week then . Therefore this thread should be deleted imo I’d keep it open to prevent ‘stop the steal’ type accusations but maybe lock it when the poll closes. No doubt there’ll be another similar thread along similar lines shortly afterwards. |

Maybe you and G just avoid each other on here, it’s a big enough forum. You both don’t get on with each which happens; we all have bad karma with other people. There’s this lad I went to school with, who knocked around with us after school and we never hit it off. He didn’t like me and I could never warm to him. He moved away and I didn’t hear a word from him for years. Reconnected on FB a few years back and he still winds me up to high heaven and he probably feels the same about me. I just don’t go there anymore, not worth it for me or him. |

Im not even sure why there needs to be a democratic process in these circumstances. Ive been on various forums covering a variety of interests since the 90s I cant recall a single time when an admin was voted in or out by the members. Totally agree. I wont be voting in this ridiculous poll, needs to be deleted. Time to move on. The new forum is clearly not providing the likes of Mel with the alternative outlet I assumed he was seeking (and having had several quick glances I can see why) - Seems to spend more time on here (stirring) than anyone else at the moment. I feel so sorry for him, He clearly has issues with this at the moment. |

I was going to ask this elsewhere but the thread got locked - does anyone have a link to the other breakaway site that was set up a few years ago? I never bookmarked it or actually contributed to it iirc but I tried a google search of HTFC forums and nothing that rang a bell came up. Maybe it no longer exists? I'm pretty sure it wasn't using Proboards.

Can anyone supply me a link to the "other forum" - I might go on there and set up a poll You can try, but apparently their policy is to ban people from DATM who "are trolling"; which, as far as I can tell, means having opposing views - you know, like believing that boats with refugees trying to cross the Channel shouldn't be sunk, or disagreeing with the idea that black youths should be placed under curfew because something something knives. Even though they have no rules. Except when they do. It's all terribly confusing. |
