Player goes down injured - compulsory 5 minutes off pitch - that would soon put an end to that - forest were dropping like flies, taking it in turns, 2-3 at a time at one point.

Disagree re advantage - we had the ball in the opposition half with space. He wasn’t to know we’d make a mess of it. No advantage whatsoever. I can't believe anybody who has watched us this season wouldn't prefer a free kick in the final third to having the ball in a crowded area with defenders set. I completely agree I’d have preferred a free kick But the ref shouldn’t be making decisions based on whether to give us a free kick or play advantage based on how good or bad we are at set pieces or in open play

Also I'd have booked their guy (no idea who it was) who looked like he possibly got a boot in the head (our left back area), held his face and rolled around like he'd been shot, then as soon as our guy was telling him to basically get up, he shot up and was looking for trouble. Would've booked him for such an embarassing overreaction when clearly there was nothing wrong with him. The feeling around me (Centre Kilner bank) was that LOB wasn't near him. As you say if he had been caught no way would he have been up imediately pushing and shoving. It was in front of me, he was close but he didn't connect. Same as the one playing dead in the box while we were attacking

Opposition comes and does a job on us using all the dirty tricks in the modern day football toolbox. No surprises here. Yesterday was bad but nothing compared to what went on in the greedy league!

If the game stops because someone is down injured they should have to go off the field. I can't believe it isnt already the rule tbh

Still don't get the decision not to book their guy at the start of the match for just knocking the ball out of Toffolo's hands when taking a throw-in. The only reason can be that it was something like the second or third minute in so he just let him off with a warning. Sorba was booked for doing the same thing against Reading.

When it was announced that Turton had come on as a sub, i thought this guy is not good enough and said that to my mate 5 minute's later i was proved right. Will he get to be a better player, i very much doubt it any club who does their home work will pressure him in to making a mistake and while i agree any player can make a mistake i don't believe hw will be good enough. It was pointed out to me in an after the game pint he is not the only player to make a mistake!! my argument is, other player's who do make mistakes are more productive e,g either make a goal or score's goal's.
