Looked like a decentish signing at the time, Dropping down a division to prove himself when most were stepping up or sideways. Who could have predicted how the team would shape up then?

Not seen it mentioned anywhere but Rolando has received his first call up for Jamaica and is in their squad for a friendly on Wednesday. If he's been allowed to travel to that in the week of a play off final then he must be well down the pecking order at Town, seems like we've probably seen the last of him. It’s in Spain on weds not in Ja , he’s out in Portugal now what’s to say he’s not turned down the friendly as seasons not finished yet ?

This Jamaica call up is bringing him about as much luck as he's had the rest of his career!
First british airways loses his bags. Then he's not even picked for the bench for the first of 2 games against Suriname. Then the Jamaican FA forget to arrange a flight back to Jamaica for the return fixture, leaving him stranded in Suriname. Now the manager (Paul Hall, who buggered up our hopes of going up automatic in 2006) has resigned in protest at the FA! Rizz is still in Suriname meanwhile

Really difficult balance to strike with this one. He is obviously costing us a wage for no return which is not ideal, but when a player is this badly damaged, there is a certain duty of care that a club has to fulfil, out of respect if anything else. Impossible to know what the best situation is, but hope the lad himself is okay mentally.

Honestly folks. Heart goes out to this fella. Must be difficult to deal with Yeah I am sure getting a wage for doing fuck all is difficult to deal with. He's unable to play the game he loves. That is bound to have a psychological impact. These continual injuries will also make him consider whether he has a future as a player. His career could be under threat. That is also bound to have an impact on his mental health. Do you really think he'd rather be injured than playing?

Yeah I am sure getting a wage for doing fuck all is difficult to deal with. Daft comment, such a narrow minded view. Yes and no. When you look at some of the freeloaders we’ve had at the club over the past few seasons, we have to contextualise opinions like this to that. Diakhaby, Mbenza, Kongolo etc were taking vast wages to do precious little, yes they weren’t all injured all the time but they damaged the club massively in terms of league position and finances. Unfortunately, Aarons is now in the same category for me. I’ve nothing against him personally, but he is clearly a non-productive member of the squad. I’d easily have Mahoney, Holmes, Thomas, Rowe, Grant, Koroma ahead of him…

He would have been nowhere near the squad last season.

Really unlucky. It looks as though his move here isn't going to work out for him but that's not his fault. Putting him in the same bracket as those wasters who actively took the piss out of the club is not just ridiculously harsh, but grossly unfair.

My comment may have sounded harsh, but the guy is another one rinsing the club.
We are all moaning about lack of funds etc, yet you are all defending this guy.
1. He isnt a youngster 2. He isnt actually that good 3. He would be nowhere near the starting 11 even if he was fit.
Yes it may be difficult, but the club and him should have come to an agreement to let him go. His wages could be used elsewhere or even for a loan.

They were wrong, of course, he's absolutely garbage.

His wages could be used elsewhere or even for a loan. He didn’t put a gun to someone’s head and force them to sign him. Club offered him a contract for a fixed amount of time and for a set amount of money. They were happy for him to sign it. How’s he rinsing the club just because he’s injured? These negative comments about players are so naive as to make you look completely stupid, which I’m sure you’re not. What do you want the guy to do? And whatever it is, would you do it in his position? Assume it involves walking away from a generous contract? Ridiculous.
