Swansea & Huddersfield in O'Riley talks
Swansea and Huddersfield are in talks to sign MK Dons midfielder Matt O’Riley.
The 21-year-old has been one of the standout players in Sky Bet League One this season and Bournemouth, Barnsley and Middlesborough have also shown interest.
Swans boss Russell Martin managed O’Riley at MK Dons last season and has been determined to take him to the Liberty Stadium since making the switch in the summer.
But Huddersfield are equally as confident of persuading the ex-Fulham academy player to move to Yorkshire next month.
Dons are said to value O’Riley in the region of £1.5m to £2m.
According to Wyscout, O’Riley ranks as the top-performing central midfielder in League One so far this season. He has six goals and four assists.
He also has an EU passport so has been tracked by clubs in Italy, Spain and Germany, as well as by Rangers in Scotland.

Wonder if this a replacement for LOB ? - As he is off to the Dirties.....with Phillips off to the Spuds or the Bin Dippers ?

Left footer, let's hope he's not identified as LOB's replacement (nothing against the lad, he looks to be able to pick a pass, just don't want to lose LOB now) I expect we've got replacements lined up for every key player we have. You never know what bids will come in or whether somebody will get a long term injury. Whether they come to fruition or not is another thing. And I don't want to lose LoB either just yet. |

Not another potential MK Dons sighing. Haven't the club learnt from the massive negative publicity they received last time we signed a MK Dons lower league player (Lee Nicholls).
