Sounds like their game at Bournemouth wasa dour, turgid affair...it's the way Boro' play.like a grinding juggernaut crunching it's way along slowly boring the oposition into submission (mostly). I expect another dour affair as Boro' will not want to lose this but at some point they will have to be more adventurous..particularly after we take the lead (hopefully not too early in the game...)

We won't be seeing Matty Crooks reached 15 yellows and now a 3 match ban .

They are missing crooks and watmore limped off yesterday too so fingers crossed he's out.
I'd take a draw now No problem
I'd make a few changes
Id actually go 3 at the back to match them up. If Sarr was to start he has to be in the middle for me.

We've been to Fulham, Forest, Sheff U, Luton, Blackburn & got results this season, I wouldn't put it past the lads to get something tomorrow either. We're one of the best teams on the road so we must be doing something right.

We're one of the best teams on the road so we must be doing something right. Beat me to it, the players and manager, will be going into games like nervous wrecks, if they read stuff on here. They are 3rd in the league, by belief, hard work, and focused to win every game.

Hey guys, Boro fan in peace here. I've authored tomorrow's matchday thread over at the oneBoro forum www.oneboro.co.uk/forum/topic/13142-boro-v-huddersfield/I just came here to give you our views on the game, we're expecting a difficult game but we know you don't sit back and defend which hopefully should suit us so the game should be pretty open. We see losing Matt Crooks for 3 games as a blessing in disguise, the general consensus is he's been poor for months now and his replacement should be Riley McGree who we have big hopes for. Big money signing Martin Payero could make the bench too. Defensively we've changed our keeper, Wilder publicly slated Joe Lumley and dropped him for the Bournemouth game. Luke Daniels came back into the team and was solid if not exactly called into action much. I expect you to give him a much harder test. One last thing, you'll be laughing if Aaron Connolly starts like he has every single game lately, as he can't hit a cow's backside with a banjo. Hopefully we both make the playoffs and meet each other in the final, that would be great. Personally I don't believe Boro have a squad ready to go back up yet but I won't complain if the impossible happens!

The game at ours doesn’t really have any relevance to tomorrows game, we are a different side again and so are they. There is no 2 ways about it, it is going to be a tough game, but we have to go into it with the knowledge that over the course of the season, we have been better than they have, the points on the board tells us that.

Agreed, with 3 very winnable games after this one i expect to see some rotation with Ruffels, Eiting, Koroma, Rhodes starting.

Not playing on Saturdays doesn’t help , and games being televised as well. Been away a bit this year but changed my mind on a few occasions due to the above. The price has put me off on a couple of occasions also. Blackburn was too expensive for one and was ready to purchase tickets and meet up with a couple of Lancashire friends but thought their club was taking the piss . Think our away support due to many factors as been bang average this year though. On Mondays game been upto boro a few times what an horrible away day , the stadium is in the middle of smog industrial land a dire place to visit and it doesn’t help we never seem to win there ever, I can’t go due to work but wouldn’t be going anyway especially with it being on tv. I will after force myself if we play them in playoffs , just because it’s a long way to visit an absolute shithole of a place for 90 mins footy. Probably in my top 5 stadiums of not wanting to visit again in a rush. Our away support is the highest it's been for 3 seasons.... 😂 we’ve hardly had fans in last 2 years .

Tedchips, I don’t come on here very often. But, I just saw that you are on every thread and you have an opinion on everything. I really hope you got a nice badge or maybe a rosette? Hats off to you. The ability to comment on everything going on around you is a rare skill. It’s only my wife and you that can do this. Thank you for commenting on every thread and for helping people to come around to your way of thinking

Ha ha, that's what I was referencing. Mid February that gem. I was wrong about that. You no longer think we'll manage to sneak top half?

Pearson who's played every game and solid as a rock, with a few goals too..being left out..Russell and Antojin too cumbersome to add guile to a midfield that has floundered of late..and the fact our main strike force is Rhodes, Campbell or Ward and yet chose to put our winger (Thomas) up top such is the dearth of talent in that area. When we 'click' we're good..but when we don't it tense stuff for Town fans..I've predicted our away form will see us through this game and 3 points, but equally it could be 0-4... Also, I'm hoping we get a half decent ref for a change, we've had some absolute shockers this season, as have other clubs from what I've seen..

Anyone know how our record with Danny Ward compares to without?
Everyone keeps banging on about how strong our squad is but in all the key positions we're lacking in quality back up. Without Ward our chances are seriously reduced
