I do think it will be a good night tbh, but thirty odd quid to listen to people talk is a bit much.

It's not long ago you could have expected to have had a meal thrown in for this price I cant see there being much take up on this tbh . I dont think there is a warnock story we are going to hear that we haven't already

That was much the same as I was thinking. Might have gone had they had it at stadium with pie and peas supper and a pint thrown in but not at the Town hall. It's too big for him at that price.

Not like Warnock to be trying to make a few quid ………this will be a national tour as he tells all the fans of the clubs he managed just how much he loved his time at the club .
I like warnock but he is absolutely money obsessed.

Absolute legend. A travesty we let him leave. To this day gave me my best ever season watching Town (and my favourite Team). The ‘Booth and Jepson’ season, great days. Got a lot of time for Warnock and might just go and watch this.

Yep - I never tire of watching that play off final at old Wembley in 1995 - it had it all - drama, emotion, great football, great goalkeeping, posts, crossbars, and off the lines and most important of all a late winner for Huddersfield Town !
He’s certainly been about the block in the footy world has Neil Warnock and he’s managed lots and lots of clubs so he has, and I’m sure he’ll have a good few stories to tell..
I think he said in a video linked to the cup final that he did ground breaking and unorthodox preparation for that cup final like not watching Bristol Rovers videos in the build up but instead some sort of comedy to relax them , think he also said he let them go golfing and night clubbing in the run up to it and it obviously had the desired effect as Town won !
Proper old style manager and a dying breed in the modern game nowadays !

Some moaning about the price? Really £34.50 is pretty much standard rate for anybody these days. Brian Cox at Stockton Globe cost the same, and I'll tell you now, there'll be far more chance of understanding Warnock. Apparently if I understood correctly we might all just be holograms.

On another note and not all on here can claim to have been there.
I remember one of Warnock’s first matches in charge at Leeds road. We were playing Barnet at home and I think it was the equivalent of league 1 now?.
Their start to the season was something like won - none / drawn one and lost 10 I think. They were rock bottom.
They beat us at Leeds road…….
The attendance I believe was circa 5,100 and I was one of them, on my own as well as nobody else could be bothered going.
I walked out that day wondering why I bothered, I was of course back the following week and little did I know what Warnock was about to achieve……

Friday evening; Rat and Ratchet meet-up, wander up the hill to the Town Hall and spend a couple of hours listening to one of the old-school characters (not many exist anymore) tell his many football stories to an audience of like-minded people. What’s not to like 😉
Ticket bought; looking forward to it...

It might be standard rate but it's still a crazy price for listening to a few amusing stories and a bit of reminiscing. Town Hall holds 1200 people, even if they only sell 600 tickets that's over £20k for a couple of hours 'effort'. Haven't a clue how much Warnock will trouser out of that but it's surely in the thousands.
