So...just bought 6 tickets. Thought I’d chance it even though it was only 2 per transaction. Went through no issue. I say no issue, it took 10 hours to finally work! No need to talk like Fred the Butcher on Coronation Street. Wondered you meant until I read it again then laughed! 🤣

So how did it end up? Got ticket after the crash at 1:30ish. Judging by how this thread kept going it didn't go well.

If you have a seat reservation you will be fine. People booked on other trains, unless expressly given leave to do so, will not be allowed to travel on "your" train. The guard will make announcements to this end before departure. Your train is coming out of Neville Hill so it starts from Leeds and will be empty (as opposed to some services that start in Harrogate etc) I doubt the conductor will trying to start order about 1000's of football fans that are canned up. It'll be absolute chaos. There won't be 1000's of football fans canned up at 9.40 in the morning. And for the few that are, the guard will have the BTP at his disposal, so no worries there. It won't be any sort of chaos.

Forecast has changed quite a bit. Far cooler and no sun.
A shame really as it adds to the whole experience when it's great weather but atleast we don't need to worry about being admitted to hospital with sun stroke like those Sheff Utd fans in 2012. Dread to think what some of them looked like the following day

Southerner in peace!
Went to visit extended family in the area as a youngster, and my dad took me to the first game at the new stadium as we were there at the time, only 2 stands completed if I remember correctly. Jepson, Booth, Starbuck were playing that season and you had a good team. Sorry Wycombe ruined the day!
Any case, went along to the Wycombe match at Wembley last week and would love to come along again for your big day as I’ve always kept an eye out for you ever since that opening match in the 90’s and I live a short train ride away. Registered an account, but couldn’t pay as newly set up.
If anyone gets stuck and wants to shift a spare then get in touch!
Tips for the day - wear a cap, sun can be a bastard in the east stand. Beer prices are ridiculous on the day in the area, so you may as well just go in the stadium when it opens and drink the Bud on tap £6 but a lot less hassle! If you have kids, have them take their sweets in discretely you’ll be ok. They let us take water in but not ‘flavoured water’. So my kid downed his bottle of Oasis sharpish and wasn’t impressed. I had a plastic bag with some bottles of water and the security were fine - genuinely just said “mate it’s really hot and my kids are young”. The staff didn’t want any bother and were really really nice people.
If your driving down for the day, park at Ickenham for £3 and get the tube.
Finally if your near block 108, when there is a mile long queue for a piss there is a massive toilet block hidden by the entrance just as you come in, it was hysterical how everyone had missed it!
Have a great day out!

seems to be quietening down here now we're down to the last few '000 tickets...Does ticketmaster operate 24/7 or does it 'shut down' overnight ?
Sadly I won't be attending this time, the first final i've missed but in the end the costs involved were just too much as I'd be flying in from Perpignan and the return flight is 3 days later, so 3 overnights..plus the fact my son and the grandkids were going but are now not..and half the fun would have been watching them enjoying their first visit to wembley.
So it's the TV for me this time, on our campsite with a few 'semi neutral' friends , at least they're not supporting Forest. My Town flag is fluttering proudly above my mobile home ..although with gale force winds forecast it might not stay there too long..!
Enjoy the day, cheer like crazy...and let's hope for victory..

This is from the forest forum as of 4pm about our ticket numbers, looks like they've more interest in what we're doing than their own sales "It looks like their seat map is showing 38,831 so yeah a couple thousand. Of that, they've got 5,536 available for purchase." I don't understand the whole web site code thing to work these numbers out so can't validate any of this. It means nothing to be but maybe someone who's tech savvy can work out how to do it? This is what the Forest fan posted 👇 The raw data on the web site - basically the site iterates every seat as an object, and so it's fairly easy to count the instances of that type of object - and then to count how many are marked as available. Make sure that all the seats are showing on the plan, then Right Click in the seat map and choose "inspect" and it'll take you to the relevant part of the site code. Worked it out Total tickets available to htafc are 38831 - Basically the number of seat icons, dots on the page. Tickets left 5494 - The number of seat icons marked as available This is a block: <g data-component="svg__block" class="seat-block" transform="translate(5212,1344) "> This is a sold seat: <g data-component="svg__seat" id="s_2404-36-30" class="seat seat-icon"> <circle cx="-14" cy="-103" r="2.55"/> This is an available seat: <g data-component="svg__seat" id="s_2405-11-30" class="seat seat-icon available"> <circle cx="1" cy="-607" r="3"/>

Strange, I moved away for over 45 years but still kept in touch with lots of my school mates who follow Town and getting a ticket would have been no problem. Also strange you've never signed on here earlier, we've got hundreds of "ex pat "Town fans on here who use the forum to keep in touch with Town. Probably more expats on here than folk who still live around Huddersfield. Where did you live, what school did you go to and when? Why not have a look through here downatthemac.proboards.com/thread/106170/shameful-desperate-plea-help-thread and pm your favourite gullible fan direct? Sorry to genuine fans who bought too many tickets, but I'm getting a bit concerned that the Admin are allowing this forum to be use as a market place for flogging tickets on the black market. Is it not illegal for them to allow this anyway?

Don't see the harm if they're being sold at cost price Well it's illegal, that's a fact not a matter of opinion. On a personal level I'd have had no problem sorting out someone like Suggy from Devon who was having problems yesterday, genuine Town fan all day long, but these dodgy Town fans signing on for the first time who often know more about the Club than I do, but haven't kept in touch with any friends or family that could have sorted them out, or have any purchase history? Its a big NO for me,
