Put some red in it and maybe a shit tree then we will might get decisions go about way. Huddersfield Town could put a multitude of trees incorporated into one of the full coloured away kits - in recognition of The ones up on The Kilner Bank in what surely must be one of the most beautiful views from any main stand in the length and breadth of Britain... That said they would be on a HTAFC top so I wouldn’t be expecting anything from bloody inept officials no matter what ! I remember looking across to it after I’d given up watching a pure pish Town performance v Burton Albion a few seasons ago and very therapeutic it was - unlike what was taking place on the field of play below !

I’ve often thought the same Westie. With lots of grounds now situated alongside retail parks etc, ours has to be one of the most picturesque in English football.

Any clues as to when ours will be released? I draft out on a bit of lined paper at the top the Town pre season friendly’s and at the bottom the kit launch dates and marks out of ten and remarks - ma sister says I’m bloody nuts and got a thing called OCD (she is a nurse ! ) - and having dug them outta ma ‘Huddersfield Town miscellaneous folder’ tonight it’s been random the last eight years... The first strips and dates (launched but not for buying till later were) - 2015 (away) - Sat 27-June 2016 (home) - Fri 24-June 2017 (home) - Fri 30-June 2018 (home) - Tue 8- June 2019 (home) - We 17-June 2020 (home) - We 12-Aug 2021 (Home) - Mo 28-June Training tops are usually 1-2 weeks in advance of strips apart from 2018 and 2020.. Knowing Town and the excellent retail team - I’ve every faith they’ll be nice and I’ll probably buy them all !

Equally as random, I received an Umbro Stoke City shirt one Christmas when I was about 8 or 9. No idea why. Yup, my old Nan got me a Wolves kit sometime in the early 70s. To be fair though, having recently looked back at some old family Polaroids from that time, my favourite colour definitely appears to have been orange. Remember getting a leather football at the time too, and that bugger was also the orange version. Think I was a bit unlucky in so far as the first Town kit I was bought was one of the plain blue ones, not a stripe in sight! My wife once bought our 9 year old son a Middlesbrough shirt, because "he likes football". He never wore it. I even think he refused to take it to his room with the rest of his Christmas presents. He is still a Town season ticket holder.

There was something about that Wolves kit in the 70’s. One of our games iconic kits imo.

Hearts new away kit by Umbro has multi-coloured polka dots. Terrible!

Not keen on any of those Umbro designs at first glance. And that Ipswich home one is made worse by that ginger knobber with the crayola coloured-in arms!

I had a Wolves kit in the 70,s gold shirt, black shorts, unsure about sock colour though, was my 1st kit, 1 of my xmas pressies, was got from my mums Empire stores catalogue!!, remember scouting through the kits were 4 to choose from I think, Liverpool was 1, can't remember other 2, chose wolves for colours, there were no badges or owt, just a plain gold shirt, kids of our era don't have that option anymore!!!!.

My sister lives in Lucan (where Danny Grant is from apparently) and I've been on many a bus trip into Dublin City on the bus.

Dumbarton FC kit launch for 150th anniversary season now advertised for 30th June - as it’s such a significant season they have forgone shirt sponsorship - (must have plenty money then ! )... Home one is a throwback to days gone by which is natural enough in this year and the away one is simple enough and similar to Scotland which is ok as that’s where The Sons o’ The Rock are from... I don’t think any footy club in Britain can have changed their home kits as often or as radically as Dumbarton over the fifteen decades of their existence, I guess it makes it interesting for the fans - at least those who aren’t traditionalists anyway as the trad fans might not like wholesale change... Anyway.. here they are ! Attachment Deleted Attachment Deleted

Huddersfield Town 2022/23 training tops are available to look at on the club superstore website now - once again Town do a really good job and definitely tomorrow or Friday I need to book and order (1) - Umbro Training jacket (yellow, oyster and white) and...(2) Blue warm up jersey... (both 3XL) - Some nice gear there and once again well done to Luke and staff on making me open the wallet once more - Ach well I like it, hopefully as usual the natives will give me good feedback as per usual on the HTAFC attire I’ll get and sport - not the most heavenly body for sure but the folks at ma shores sure like ma Huddy Town wardrobe ! I am just wondering how many connotations of Blue and White stripes there could possible be . Why can’t the club in recognition of the Cost of Living upturn just leave it alone for one season .. But they do have my permission to change that ghastly Beach Glass Green thing from last season !

It wasn’t my cup of tea, but that kit went down extremely well and the female fans especially seemed to love ut.

Probably because of when I started going ( 1979 ) but I always think of our 'true' away kit as being yellow shirts, blue shorts and yellow socks.

I'm with Slapps on what I think of as a Town away kit, as we're the same age, but I wouldn't want to go back to that now, it's a bit too chestwankery.
