The story indicates that WBA want to strengthen their forward line before the window closes, this seems to be at odds to the stories we hear that he is a project and one for the future.

If this is true we will not compete with WBA in transfer fee or wages.

OK, I am a young striker who hasn’t played above League 2 to any real effect and I watch the game at ours Saturday. Which of those 2 teams am I likely to get game time with?

This for me is why deals like selling grant to West Brom for15 million paid in 6 yearly instalments is just daft business. They still haven't paid for him, yet can also out bid us for another player.

Not sure what's gone on but we did a lot more slicker business last summer. I am sure the playoffs and Carlos leaving hasn't helped but we really need some quality reinforcements all over the pitch and so far nothing has materialised since the season begun.

What made you want to sign with us? WBA is a big club with unbelievable fans, also the plan they put in front of me for my development was second to none, I’d like to think Grant can teach me a thing or two, but hopefully he can learn something off me too.

I'm not sure why people seem to be disappointed at no announcements between the posts on here (5-10 minutes apart, transfers take time).



That said, I've always known that not much will happen before the deadline and if it does, it will be later tomorrow because Town will get any deals done at the absolute minimum cost, not that that is such a bad thing.

Is it insane?

It makes sense to cash strapped clubs who can maintain higher than expected income streams over a longer period, plus you can probably get a higher overall price with this method of buying.

A few fans need to accept some realities or go out and find a sugar Daddy.
