This for me is why deals like selling grant to West Brom for15 million paid in 6 yearly instalments is just daft business. They still haven't paid for him, yet can also out bid us for another player. insane. What has them not paying for Grant yet and being able to outbid us on someone have any relation? So you’re saying if they had paid in full we could outbid them? They could pay us £50m, they’d still outbid us for any player. Stop talking wet as usual err they are paying for grant on "tick"... so if we had the full amount we would have more money and they would have less.. simple maths..but obviously too hard for you to compute... stop talking shite as usual. |

God strewth - its a bloody game and an expensive one at that!
Transfers at this level take a long time - at £10-15k pw over 3 years plus in wages alone its hardly surprising...........get it wrong and you are lumbered with another sobhi, mbenza, diakhaby, pritchard costing millions and no re-sale value.
Let the club get on with it - if by cob tomorrow we have no incomings then by all means vent your spleen a bit - but ffs stop making it so personal and vitriolic. If i was Dean and i'd seen some of the wasters literally pinching money from the club i'd probably be as reluctant to "splash the cash".
Its disappointing to see a good season last year not built on immediately, but forest hardly came out of the traps last year and look what happened there?!!!
Ive only been to one game thus far - it was poor but it wasnt a lack of effort we were just dreadful against a half decent burnley - sh1t happens.
Heres hoping 3 pts tonight and a signing or two later changes the mood!!!

Plus Pipa and Carlos leaving for another club ran by the same owner... He effectively acquired 2 of our best players, a fringe player & arguably one of our best managers of recent seasons for next to piss all. |

I was going to go out for food tonight, but it'll probably be full or not open when i want it to be or the service could be rubbish and the food will probably be overdone....or undercooked.
Either way, its not going to be exactly what i want. Ive been buying food from there for 30 years, they should do exactly what i want.

Some times doesn’t go through. Be interesting to what photos are in the deleted bin of other players in town kit that have fallen through |

OK, I am a young striker who hasn’t played above League 2 to any real effect and I watch the game at ours Saturday. Which of those 2 teams am I likely to get game time with? If that was me that is the question I would be asking. Sadly most will be thinking how much money will they pay me nowadays. He is ambitious and wants to move forward so I think getting game time will be important to him. I could be wrong, money may be the driver but I just don't get that feel reading a bit about him. |
