Shame heâs injured but strikers arenât a problem atm - Ward and Rhodes take the few chances they get. Midfield and creating chances is the main issue.

Yep. Out until after the World Cup You'd think we might have tried to sign him in January instead for less money as he's out of contract in June. Instead we'll pay a higher fee and pay him for 4 months for doing nothing. So we have got money to burn then  |

Do you honestly think we could afford anybody that is fully fit and raring to go? Also Simpson has only played consistently at League two look at Boyle he isn't going to be an instant answer will need time. We are the most budget of budget. Club is rotten to the core again all because of Hoyle, its just sad to be honest, really sad after last season's progress.

Bromby says he's due back from injury around the world cup break. He can then have a mini pre-season whilst the world cup is on & all being well we'll have him for first team contention for when the season resumes.

Such a shame that heâs injured.
What we need is someone to put a bit of excitement on the pitch and into the fans. Something, anything, that can spark some life back into the club and snap us out of this malaise.
Sadly, him signing then disappearing from view wonât achieve that. Nor will signing an injured Helik.
We need players on the pitch on Sunday who can make a difference.
Buying for the future is fine but canât be our only transfer strategy.

It will be ward and Rhodes this season with Simpson maybe getting minutes from the bench once heâs fit and as we develop him.next year might be a different story for the lad with ward possibly leaving at end of the year been out of contract. Itâs a signing a fair few efl pundits expected a lot of champ clubs to make.folk need to relax a touch. |
