Injured and out until Xmas. Great. You couldn't make that up. We could be all but relegated by then.

This lad must be good if Town have announced him twice.

Shame heâs injured but strikers arenât a problem atm - Ward and Rhodes take the few chances they get. Midfield and creating chances is the main issue.

Surely the only reason Phillips was allowed to go out on loan was because we were bringing this guy in? Why not hang on to Phillips until January? Bizarre.

Yep. Out until after the World Cup To be fair the first game after the world cup is 10th December so he's due back a few weeks before Christmas.

There arenât many teams that are short of goals that would go for someone thatâs injured till Christmas. Groundbreaking stuff.

What a shit show. Sign a bloke who is injured. Also Helik is injured too. Id question kasamu as well as he makes Darren Anderton look like James Milner.
What are our recruitment team playing at

Yep. Out until after the World Cup You'd think we might have tried to sign him in January instead for less money as he's out of contract in June. Instead we'll pay a higher fee and pay him for 4 months for doing nothing. So we have got money to burn then

Do you honestly think we could afford anybody that is fully fit and raring to go? Also Simpson has only played consistently at League two look at Boyle he isn't going to be an instant answer will need time. We are the most budget of budget. Club is rotten to the core again all because of Hoyle, its just sad to be honest, really sad after last season's progress.

Nothing against long term signings and Helik would certainly be worth waiting for. Doesnât help us in the short term though and the season is slipping away already. Desperately need a display and points on Sunday.

A man who only owns 25% of the club is only propping it up to the tune of ÂŁ5 - 10 million a yearâŚ. what a twat. I have a car that YOU donât own⌠I doubt youâd be happy to pay for my fuel (you know, the running costs) never mind then being asked to pay for new tyres, new exhaust, new brakes etc to improve itâŚ.. and I wouldnât blame you at all⌠cos you donât own the fucking car!

Bromby says he's due back from injury around the world cup break. He can then have a mini pre-season whilst the world cup is on & all being well we'll have him for first team contention for when the season resumes.

Injured and out until Xmas. Great. My money was on that DuncFost writing this. No clearly itâs another signing for the future. Didnât somebody once say âyou need to be in the present and not the future in sportâ. Replaces Rolando in the squad. He was useful.

So after waiting for him to sign we are told he is injured only at Town could this happen facing a relegation fight so we sign a injured player who can't play till unleast Christmas, has Hoyle totally lost the plot now and let us sleepwalk into league one, have seen it all before in 50 years as a supporter never had anyone in charge with any long term ambition

Such a shame that heâs injured.
What we need is someone to put a bit of excitement on the pitch and into the fans. Something, anything, that can spark some life back into the club and snap us out of this malaise.
Sadly, him signing then disappearing from view wonât achieve that. Nor will signing an injured Helik.
We need players on the pitch on Sunday who can make a difference.
Buying for the future is fine but canât be our only transfer strategy.

It will be ward and Rhodes this season with Simpson maybe getting minutes from the bench once heâs fit and as we develop him.next year might be a different story for the lad with ward possibly leaving at end of the year been out of contract. Itâs a signing a fair few efl pundits expected a lot of champ clubs to make.folk need to relax a touch.
