For those who didn't get chance to see the video before it was removed, the guy has A LOT of self belief. Polite way of saying he seems a bit of a prick. Scored 9 career goals and has the 'self-belief' to say in his welcome interview that Jordan Rhodes could learn a few things of him. Hopefully this signing works out and he's not going to ruin the good dressing room we've clearly got. |

It’s good that he has some confidence, he should be aiming to better the strikers that are already here; a striker needs a touch of arrogance. Think some of the comments above are harsh, he said he’s excited to learn and really liked the development plan that town have for him. Called us a massive club, a great dressing room and that he’s delighted to be here. Hardly a big time Charlie but no looks like a Couple of posters on here have already marked him, there’s even a link with Koroma again (yes let’s use it as another opportunity to randomly bash him for a supposed ‘ego’)

Has all the attributes to be a good striker, have to have confidence in your own abilities and strengths, have to want to score goals. He can sing his way through interviews or recite romantic poetry as long as he scores goals or is a huge pain in the arse to play against. Self confidence works both ways but strikers have to take the shot on, have to make the move in the box and have to challenge for stuff and chase stuff, on good and bad days for them or the team. Id rather have one that keeps believing rather than one who hides. |

About 6 months ago… huge club with great history…. he found a very difficult location for his interview (not that he said that but you could tell)… Bromby did an unbelievable power point presentation…. and is happy to get it over the line(not that it’s over the line). |

I'd be more worried if he had said Rhodes is the complete striker and he can only dream about being as accomplished as him and will be happy to clean his boots.

If I were picking the team I'd have a centre midfielder who's sole purpose was to create chances for Rhodes. He's an absolute deadly striker with both feet and headers and will score loads if they only find someone to feed him regular passes. You compare his coolness and composure in front of goal to (for instance) Koroma...and others , who seem to panic and just slash the ball in the general direction of the goals... |

Nothing wrong with self belief. I saw the video before it’s removal and he didn’t seem overly arrogant at all, happy to be here and backed himself to improve.
Let’s put it this way; if he shows on he pitch what is needed to boost his ego, he will make us a bang tidy profit when he moves onwards.
