Dan James had recorded all of his for them down the road before Swansea refused to submit the forms back and subsequently sold him to Man Utd instead a few months later.

IF true, Ipswich sound like a set of arseholes to deal with.
First they cock-up the lads loan and then try to effectively blackmail him into signing a new deal.
Then they publicly state he’s open for sale but kick up a fuss that an open secret of his sale has progressed.
Errors happen at all levels of the sport. But it was hardly a showstopper.
Let’s just wait and see though before we all start slagging one another off though, eh.

It wasn’t fake or inaccurate as I saw it myself it was on the hudds town YouTube page on their playlists under new signings ! It was either put on there in error by the poster or they put it on to get ready but made it public instead of private until the signing was released. |

If the loan to Charlton rumour is true, then it makes sense. First team football at a decent level to help him progress to being able to play in our first team.
Also now that both Karlan Grant and Naby Sarr have gone....
"He's electric, we loaned him to Charlton Athletic...."

On Saturday I got the feeling they were blooding Thomas for that role, particularly given the impact Pat Jones had. In that 5 mins he played as a striker before Rhodes came on,he proved he can't play in that role |

Unless the plan is about shaping for league one. Which I don’t think it is. Sure I remember PH saying that relegation to league one would seriously impact the type of players we could afford. |

I think the tactic is that we buy players with potential to be really good for a few hundred thousand, then help them to realise that potential, rather than buying ready made first teamers that would cost millions. If we wanted to buy Sorba Thomas today, I don't think we could afford him, for example. |
