Players are on different wages in every club from the premier league down to the semi pro leagues and we are no different. If a player can’t handle someone coming in who is better than them on higher wages then that’s a bit pathetic. Not as simple as you might think. We've offloaded our highest paid players and are currently operating on a much reduced budget. I just question the impact it might have on current players' new contract negotiations were we to bring about such a huge differential I hate it when someone comes in with a dose of realism. 😜 |

I'd be surprised if he went to a rival. Suspect it's down to us and Celtic, assuming our interest is genuine. I thought that this was just us fans indulging in flights of fancy. I haven't seen any links worth a dam. It would be nice but lets not gat carried away until it actually appears to be happening. Too late. |

I got hints of Oti from your first two sentences, bless his soul. He’d have got about 18 pages out of the words ‘goat curry’ I reckon. lol, nowhere near as worldly travelled as Oti. Dad was in army so spent most of my formative years in Germany, with two years in HK (dad was attached to Gurkhas as a REME mechanic) and 4 years in Bulford Camp, Wiltshire. Germany was great, Bulford brilliant, but HK was fucking brilliant, especially for a teenage lad who loved females of (shall we say) a different upbringing. I think those two years were spent perpetually horny lol Are you a teenager ? 😚 |

Being over 30 and lacking speed doesn't necessarily mean a player can't perform in the Championship.
Barry Horne was excellent for us at this level.
I doubt Mooy will come back, but if he did, I have no doubt he would still have the quality to run our midfield.

Whereas modern players are top level athletes once you get past 30 you do, unfortunately, become more injury prone and injuries take longer to come back from. |

I can totally understand someone saying they don't want Mooy back due to potential financial constraints/issues/rocking the pay scale boat but for someone not to want him due to concerns about his footballing ability/age/speed is just complete madness to me.
