Aussie league? š¤ That must be a typo because he hasnāt played in the Aussie league. Granted he has looked a bit off the pace in the WC qualifying at times, but thatās because he hasnāt played any football. Against Peru he looked back to his best but tired out in the second half and extra time. He still ran the game at his own pace to stay in the game. indeed stand corrected carlosĀ insertedĀ aussie by mistake just meant china ,and yes agree with your points about peruĀ game very valid ,i just have a feeling it wouldnt work out same wayĀ thisĀ timeĀ ,as i say just my opinion See I can cop an informed opinion rather than a blanket no I donāt want him back because heās an ex player š

Is this thread on the right board? I'm confused, it's a transfer rumour right? Maybe all the transfer speculation and rumours should just be moved back to the main board to make everything easier? yeah, give us back the past, ya shits

i said no because in my opinion he wouldnt have the same impact as has previously .ive seen matches in aussie league china and world cup performances and while he has still a bit of something about him ,i just dont feel he would be as big of an impact player he was ,and dont think he would springboard us forward to greater things ,just my opinion ,loved him when he was here previously but this time would be a no from me Aussie league? š¤ That must be a typo because he hasnāt played in the Aussie league. My eldest's middle name is Stewart for the exact same reason. The wife wasn't overly keen at the time but she should probably just be grateful Kiatesuk Senumuang didn't make a name for himself at Town!

That would be the concern. I doubt the Chinese league is comparable to the championship in intensity or quality ( could be wrong but I doubt it ) Clearly most would expect him to be the brilliant player he was... but is he still? There'd be a lot of pressure on his shoulders! Some of his teammates were Arnautovic, Hulk and Oscar. The quality of the Chinese league was very high. yeah I know there's a few 'big name' players there... but they all went for no other reason but the huge money, not the competition or honour of winning things ( there is none on a global level ) so are they really going to be giving it everything? Not so sure myself. Id have two concerns over Mooy.. is he still the Mooy we remember?.. and is he motivated? End of the day he left the best league in the world and Id imagine a salary of something like Ā£40k- 50k a week, to join a nothing league really in an oppressive country away from his family ( I believe they didnt go ) just for even more money. I could see him being motivated initially for the sake of the World Cup,, but after that?? We arent going to be able to motivate him with money put it that way. If he is the same standard , or even close to it,, and is motivated.. then its a total no brainer.

I wish Iād waited until theyād played for us before I called our twins Mbenza and Diakhaby. Pretty sure social services will take them away from us for such a cruel act in naming them in this way. Itās basically child abuse.

If Mooy is half the player he was when he was with us, he'd still be a decent Championship player. If he wants to come back here that would be brilliant & can he please bring his mate Rogic with him (though the article posted earlier seems to indicate there may be some mental health issues with him at the moment.)

Wouldnāt it be good , just for a change, to sign a player that would excite ( almost ) the entire fan base.

However my view is that he is an extremely passionate, competitive guy and if money is no longer a driving factor for him (let's face it, it shouldn't be) then we're the best placed to bring him back to England as he'd get a heroes welcome and improve the team massively.

If he is the same standard , or even close to it,, and is motivated.. then its a total no brainer. He was on 50K a week here (our highest paid player) and presumably similar at Brighton, so he surely went to China for more than that. I'd imagine Ā£75k+ Regarding him chasing the money only defence I'd offer him is that he spent the initial few years of his career earning relatively little. He didn't get to Man City and 'proper' wages until he was 25. That said I don't think any Prem clubs would be after him after 3 seasons in China, and he was criminally underrated anyway so he's certainly not going to be earning mega money this time round. You'd imagine Norwich being interested though with Webber and potentially paying him between Ā£20k and Ā£30k, certainly a lot more than we ever could.

Yeah but now she's got a yen for it she might have changed her mind At least get the currency correct. Why are you trolling me (cries into hankie ) Anyway ... "Crave or desire, as in I have a yen for a thick juicy steak. The yen in this expression comes from the Chinese yan, meaning āa cravingā (probably for opium). The term was first recorded in English in 1906." SAY SORRY
