He was brilliant in 2016-17 and 2017-18, but not so good in the second PL season. Mate Pele would have struggled in that team. Of course he would, he was in his late 70s by then. Cut him some slack! |

This one is about as likely as Bale to Cardiff was. He's going to have better offers than us. Likely to be back in england, considering his wife unhappy about China and being abroad at all. Family commitments with the kids and possibly starting school. I highly doubt he would fit into any premier league team, even a newly promoted one. All 3 have the cash to buy better than him at that level now. Where does he go in the Championship? 3rd best team last season in the league, we can't be off hos radar really. Only aspect is money. Does he want to come back as a cult hero on a decent clip! If we sold LOB and got Mooy in using the funds for his wages, I can't say I'd be complaining. I know they'd not the same type of player, there are others to fill that role. We wouldn't be losing strength in the team so much and it would change the atmosphere. Its not beyond all possibilities at all really. Do I think it'll happen? Given so far this pre season, no. Hope I'm wrong howeverđ

Short term contract, bend over backwards to get him right for the World Cup as his priority and probably looking for another big contract somewhere if he excels in November/December. A signing totally stacked in the players favour. The queue wonât be that long. |

He was such a late bloomer in footballing terms that he decided to cut short his Premier League career in order to recover some of the missed career earnings with a spell in China. I expect his next destination to be with the highest bidder.
I'd love to see him back in a Town shirt as much as anyone, but I can't escape the feeling that it would be more sensible for us to 'make do' with Jon Russell and use the available budget elsewhere.

LOB not in the squad for the Morecombe game. No surprise there, he is going somewhere and we cannot afford for him to get injured. What you can bet your house on, or show yer butt on Castle Hill, is that he will go at the very last minute as the club will hold out for the biggest price, and there will be no time to use that money to replace him. Happens every season. lets get Mooy in - you never know, might make LOB stay. (yes , a foolish notion I know)

It was a combination I have not had before and it appears lethalâ If anyone else has goat curry and lots of gin, I would be obliged if they would let me know the severity of the results. It might just be me but it came out like bursts from a machine gun .... Many thanks for any data in advance... |
