Burnley thoughts
Pearson out. It be interesting to try Yata as a pairing with Lees as a left footed CB. More experience than REG for this game. Think Hogg might drop in to the back line this game to soak up pressure.
Ruffles I think it’s a game where he needs to be solid as struggled to me in the friendlies.
Would really like to see Rhodes start tomorrow. Been the inform striker end of last season and looks in terrific shape in pre season. His hold play would like to see with Tino and Thomas either side of him.
Interesting to see how Russell gets on and with the 5 subs if there are some decent changes in the game tomorrow.
Looking forward to it

No idea how these things work, but surely they will need clearance on the brazilian they have just signed?
If theirs gets done and our doesnt even though nearly 2 weeks difference then once again FA fucking us over before tma ball has been kicked.

Spent most of our lives kicking around the bottom 3 divisions for the last 30 years!. My 1st game was a 0-1 defeat to scrabrough in '88 so its all been uphill since then. The Premier league seems to bring out the worst in fans... |

Didn't we miss the deadline with the Aarons transfer the first time round because somebody forgot to put paper in the fax machine? We should perhaps have seen that as an omen... Hope it's just a rumour about Yuta's clearance not coming through. Really looking forward to seeing him play. |

But he won't play, we've got Connor Roberts at right back** ** unless we sell him before 8pm as he's our only remaining asset. |

International clearance comes from the other FA I believe, rather than the English FA. In effect, it's a transferance of registration of a player from one FA's jurisdiction to another. So if any are to blame, it's the Dutch FA. All of this is assuming that clearance hasn't been received; I suspect it will have been.
I'd also be tempted to throw him straight in alongside Lees. Much as I rate REG, I prefer a natural right/left partnership at the back, particularly with Ruffels likely to start to stake his claim to be our first-choice left-back. Makes sense to have a natural left-footer to shuffle over and cover an attack-minded full-back.

Yes and due to change missing tonight as can't get off work will be keeping eye on here for updates We will be watching you, no slacking😉 There are 5 of us usually, its holiday time and we often lose 1 or 2 in the first few games but tonight we are down to 2 due to 2 being at work. Its shitty. Its this odd idea that everyone now works from home or has flexible working hours so changes to fixtures arent a problem, they bleeding are. |
