How can we replace toff o brien with absolute crap like rudoni and ruffles and anjorin there terrible anjorin has had a 20 min spell last season that’s it Just fuck off. Sorbas contribution is taking corners and free kicks. In open play its losing the ball or giving it away and pointing to his man for others to know he isnt bothering to pick him up.
Personally still dont think we are 2 goals worse than them?
First goal, cross should have been closed down, second Nichols could have done better but the ball watching cost us the position.
Some promising breaks but lack of pace or trying to pass it rather than taking it on has bolloxed them up..
Good strike from Ruffels..
Last season at Brum, we scored 2 from less than a handful of chances, they missed a gobber and Nichols made 2 very good saves.
Its the difference today..
Lets see if we die or if there is at least some fight?

Last year was our best season for a long time and we didn't spend anything. Give the signings some time. They've had next to no time at the club. Not sure the new signings are the problem. |

We had a shot on target
We managed to pass to one of our own players at least once in the first half
We didn't go from an attacking position to going back to the keeper within 10 seconds on 385 occasions

The turn-around from our last visit is massive.
They look much better and we have gone backwards at a rate of knots.
PS Some of the comments are harsh on Rudoni but Tom Lees, Lee Nicholls and Hogg have all played an awful lot better than that for Town.

They've had next to no time at the club. Never said spend millions. And also PH was a big impact on last season. Assume you put the fantastic run of form down to Hoyle coming back then? Nah thought not. Phil had buggar all to do with it. We've had 4 weeks less rest, we couldn't bring players in early not knowing what division we'd be in, our manager fucked off at the start of pre-season and his replacement gets chucked in with no time. It's been a season where everying has conspired together to make us massively underprepared, and that's what we're seeing. We looked tired early on last week. |

Hoyle not only didn't try and build upon our deserved, but unlucky PL promotion bid, he's totally retracted to League One mentality, not replacing our sold stars.
No wonder Carlos pissed off when Hoyle didn't deliver the transfer targets, he knew that Hoyle would feck up the season, he didn't want anything to do with it, very understandably.
