We are awful but I hope no one gives Danny S any stick. We should all sing his name, none of this is his fault. This job appears too soon for him. Hoyle saw him as the cheap option who didn’t have the gravitas to stand up to his cost cutting whilst knowing the fans would back him as a former player. He’s been shafted the most out of this. but he did not have to take it. he could have walked away. It’s probably his dream job. Turn it down and he might never get the chance again. Also, everyone at the club will think he’s gutless and doubts his own abilities. As I’ve said before: if you sack a man after a season it means he’s fucked up. If you sack him after less than that, the man that hired him has fucked up.

but he did not have to take it. he could have walked away. You are offered a promotion at work. Are you really and truly going to turn it down? Like a baggage handler being offered the pilots job?

Choosing to play four at the back when we're shite when playing four at the back is Schofield's fault. He was here last season, he should know this. We looked better playing 4 at the back. Certainly more adventurous. Please tell me you’re being sarcastic

Hoyle needs to swallow some pride now and admit this season's plan is going to end up in disaster if nothing changes.
We are only 2 league games in and the transfer market is open for a few more weeks.
Hoyle has the power to steer us back on track, the question is, will he?

Feel for Grant, might not got any time, if he does it’s little of ten minutes. Game was done at half time, should of been brought on then. As much as folk might think I’m a happy clapper, that’s a strange one when you’re 0-3 at home, in a cup competition that will ultimately mean v little to us.

One thing it shows is that the squad is threadbare and the B Team players some hoped we’re ready to step up, probably aren’t.
The question is, will we do anything about it?

Playing 5 at the back makes us look alot better, every time we play with 4 at the back, we look awful

The more money thing....yay.
Job Prospects? How long would it be before he got the sack if he didn't do well?
Sometimes better to stick than twist.

To be fair though he probably didn't expect to be offered it, and thought it was too good a chance to turn down. The sad reality is he just is not good enough / ready for a role of this calibre yet Why wasn’t he made caretaker? Is Hoyle really going to leave it like this? I don't blame the bloke for taking the job it's not his fault, but is Hoyle really going to let this set up run its course? I don't want another Hoyle bashing thread I just don't see how he can leave it like this, I know he's trying to limit expenditure and I can understand that due to the anual losses, but this set up is going down.

Still no Grant…. Final change done. Fuck off Danny it would of made the lads night. Agree with the final bit, it would’ve given the kid a major boost. Poor decision not to give him some time ahead of the wage stealing Koroma.

Wonder what he’s thinking, Holmes and Koroma looking like Sunday league players and Mahoney comes in and leap frogs him and looks equally as bad - it’s worrying.

Play off final to this, last year was down to Hodgkinson and now Dean Hoyle has full control we are stinking out the joint. He came in to protect his loans and nothing more. The club is right back to the murky depths of when we had Siewert...and who's appointment was he?
