Sadly can only see another defeat. Unless something changes before Saturday? A alcohol fuelled hot day & Stoke ready to taught & get involved. This could be very unpleasant?

I’m going for a sneaky 2-1 win to shut the moaning bastards up for a week… Another hammering ahead, it has the feel of 1987-88 about it unless things change very quickly. Not moaning just appraising.

I’m going for a sneaky 2-1 win to shut the moaning bastards up for a week… I'd like to hear your positive thoughts 3 games in to what you've watched so far? Comments on style of play, in and out of possesion? As quite frankly it's been a car crash.

Unless Stoke are going to be kind enough to boot it past their own keeper all afternoon then you may as well take the 'Win' option off the poll entirely.
We've all been here before and know exactly what a relegation team looks like. This will be an away win without them even breaking a sweat.

Yeah, it's been shite, but Saturday is the first chance to start and rectify whatever problems there are in the camp.
It looks like we've regressed very quickly into a mindset that hampered us prior to last season. These players don't turn into shite players overnight. I'm a big believer in the psychology of the team, and for some reason we've decided that we're going to be unsure about our capabilities. Last season we got a few of the proverbial monkeys off our back, and we obviously need to start that process again pretty sharpish.
The negativity stuff means it's just like groundhog day on here, and it becomes a self fulfilling prophecy. All we can do in reality is get behind the team. Even if you don't like the chairman, at least get behind the team and realise they're probably as pissed off as you might be...

v Burnley, I think most of us thought we might still get something after their goal went in, plenty of time left etc. v Brum, again, that goal sparked a bit of belief that we might get a point. But we seem to have regressed to the point where not scoring the first goal is too big a hill to climb. That went away last season, but it's doing its best to take hold again...
Get behind 'em Saturday and let's hope we can get the first points on the board...
UTT!!!

That could and probably should have been even less than that. Each performance is slowly getting worse and no lessons are being learnt at all. Any positive result is going to be highly reliant on the opposition not turning up at the minute.

We've played three games and each performance has been progressively worse from a starting point of truly awful.

Back to detaching myself emotionally from the football this year I think - just enjoy the day out with mates, and put up with the shitty 90 minutes in the middle
Saying that I think town will get a point on Saturday, but if I see Koroma on that team sheet my pitchfork will be out.

To me the players have been off it but also what doesn’t help is how we setup.4-4-2 high press off the ball cannot work with the players we have.Hogg and Russel can’t make the ground up forwards or back and defence can’t push up to close the gaps and help the midfield because with the exception of 1 we have little to no pace at the back.We either have to sit deeper off the ball in a 4-4-2 or change shapes in and out full stop for me. Lees suits a back 3 so start with that, maybe play him reg and yuta with sorba and as it stands ruffels as wing backs, midfield 2 of kasumu(when fit)and Hogg or Russel,or camara and Hogg when kasumu not fit.Play tino and rudoni as a 2 behind ward with holmes and Mahoney coming in as replacements for those two. Just seems like to me he’s setting them up to fail, yes the players aren’t doing it and maybe they don’t believe in schofield but that could former maybe a result of the latter.

The wife has booked a hotel room for the weekend to celebrate our 33 wedding anniversary. Beginning to think she’s done me a huge favour. I’ll not be checking the latest scores, wouldn’t want to put a damper on the weekends activities 😜

(sorry for being pedantic) New slate, we go again etc. I'll always wait until the ten game marker to see how things are, that's just me. If we've zero points after 5 or 6 games then I might concede we're in for a tough season.

3rd League game coming up, let’s hope for a display full of commitment, energy and intent.
We can’t afford to mess up on Saturday.

What can I say? Last night was abysmal I know mate but three games since play-off final and you’re hoping for a defeat for your own team? No not really but I have zero faith that this set up has any longevity. We need a proper manager ASAP. I will also add that I did the 3 hour round trip last night in the hope that we could kick start something but I don't think I've ever seen us play worse, certainly for the opening 60 minutes.

Can’t see anything other than a defeat here.
I think he will play.
Nichols Turton REG Lees Ruffles Hogg Rudoni (please not Russell) Thomas Holmes Anjorin Ward.
He should give 3 at the back a try and play:
Nichols Turton Lees Nakayama Thomas Rudoni Hogg Ruffles Anjorin Ward Holmes
Ruffles hasn’t been great but we have no one else unless he throws Ben Jackson in.
Holmes hasn’t been great but we have no one else and part of the reason for being crap is because he is being asked to play up with the striker.
