I've got quite a bit to do on Saturday but I'd have probably been able to squeeze the match in, think I'll give it a miss though, I'm not rushing around to watch a bunch of players strolling around for 90 minutes.

Is chadders51 one of the few that's voted for a Town win? Surely no Town fans who've been to any games thus far this season have voted for a win?

Hoping for a positive result and therefore gone for a draw however I worry that it'll be next Tuesday when we hit full meltdown and anxiety on here.
We're not great at Carrow Road at the best of times.. (other than in 2016) cant remember us doing owt other than a hiding.
Fear for us that night.

I had nothing planned for Saturday afternoon but after last night, I am sure I can find something to do that will be less depressing.

Think we have to line up more solid and back to last years 3 CBs structure with Thomas given a license to push on, covered by REG and get early crosses in from RWB as per Reading at home last year when he tore them a new one and Anjorin playing the Sinani free to roam role behind Ward. Get back to basics, get the fundamentals right and hope for a slice of luck (Preston last year anyone?)
------------Nicholls --------REG---Lees---Yuta------- Thomas-------------------Ruffels ----Russell---Hogg---Rudoni----- ---------Anjorin---------------- --------------Ward--------------

I'd go back to the tried and tested 4-2-3-1.
it'll only work though if the players can be bothered to play.

Surprised at the result though We are past masters at rolling over to teams who are on a bad run Think it’ll be very close. Believe me we are every bit as bad as you are. Unfortunately I’m on holiday in the lakes so won’t even get to see it on the box. Hopefully catch the highlights on ITV. ( if there are any highlights 😡)

v Burnley, I think most of us thought we might still get something after their goal went in, plenty of time left etc. v Brum, again, that goal sparked a bit of belief that we might get a point. But we seem to have regressed to the point where not scoring the first goal is too big a hill to climb. That went away last season, but it's doing its best to take hold again... Get behind 'em Saturday and let's hope we can get the first points on the board... UTT!!! You are 100% correct but swimming against a tide. This is the time for the spend, spend, spend, where's all the money gone, anti-Dean brigade to vent their spleen. They have been frustrated for 8 months since having to stop calling for Carlos to go. We're currently shite. If it gets turned around, it won't be because of their criticism and negative postings. If it doesn't get turned, which is becoming more not less likely due to the atmosphere created, be sure we will be educated on how poor all the players, management and board personnel are. We can only give the support we can as individuals and hope for improvement.

Nicholls
Reg Lees Yuta
Thomas. Hogg Russell Ruffels
Tino Rudoni
Ward
3-4-2-1 on the ball then 5-3-2 off it Not 4-2-3-1(or 4-1-4-1) on the ball and 4-4-2 off it as we have been playing. Can still press high without leaving ourselves too open and too much space/gaps.
Edit…if we had another option at left wing back I wouldn’t play ruffels, kasumu would come in for Hogg or Russel or could potentially drop tino or rudoni in alongside kasumu and push Thomas behind ward as one of the two. That would mean had to make decision between. Turton and spencer at wing back, turton not a wing back and spencer very inexperienced.difficult

Couldn't give a shit who plays, I just want them to play like they actually give a shit. There's plenty on here that'd kill (not literally) for the chance to play for Town, and who would at least put in some effort, show some desire, commitment, passion, and play like playing for Town was the ONLY thing that mattered

I’m going for a sneaky 2-1 win to shut the moaning bastards up for a week… Well, until Norwich (who will no doubt crush us......let's be honest, nobody expects anything but a defeat there)

Hoping for an early goal to take the pressure off everyone.

I voted lose I just can’t see a win unless Stoke completely are off there game and maybe a scoreless draw could be possible.

Will take any kind of result from this. The players/ coach desperately need something to build on. Hopefully we are still in the game at half time!

Can’t see it changing. I thought our start to the season might spark some activity in the transfer market at least to plug the gaps. At least two loans for midfield and centre back. But the club seems happy to let things slide further. I predict 5-1 to Stoke
