Showed some real class against Stoke. Has been a bit more peripheral at times since but I’m still confident that he’ll turn out to be a cracking player for us.
Wide left doesn’t suit him, would like him behind the striker although that’s probably Tino’s best position as well.

Today game against Hull. I think there is a talent player there but seems to be not hitting the levels for the championship at the moment. His game seems abit frantic, scruffy and indifferent. Maybe it’s quicker in championship than league 1 and less time on ball. His first touch can be often too heavy and in traffic gets over complicated. I hope things develop over time and he can play simpler and more composed which should bring out his quality maybe? Thoughts?

I think he's doing fine. Step up to championship football and he's been shunted a bit around the the team. Today he was essentially part of two.sitting midfielders which isn't really what he is but he stuck at it.
Once we have settled a bit and find the formation that he can flourish in I think he'll get goals and create....he's shown flashes so far.
Agree first touch sometimes lacks and gets himself into traffic. He'll learn. Will be a very good signing

Think like any young player he'll have a problem with consistency. yesterday was probably the poorest game Ive seen him have for us. He wasnt terrible by any stretch, just not quite on it like he's been in other games. But overall I think he's adapted to this level extremely well and been one of our better players this season so far.

With Hogg injured, Kasumu suspended and Russell seemingly out of favour, we ( and Rudini )had to adapt. Dont think its a bad thing to set a young player new challenges. Rudini will be a more rounded player for it and he did a reasonable job.

He seemed a bit short of confidence to me yesterday. Wanted to turn and go back at every opportunity rather than look forward and take people on like he has for most of the season.

I think it's unfair to expect a natural number 10 shoe horned into playing as a 6 to be turning and running at players, when for 90% of the time he was on the pitch he was picking the ball up in our defensive third.

Worked hard and had a bit of bite to his tackles today, some good touches and composure on the ball too. Much better than the last couple of times I've seen him. Still can't see him getting much in way of goals and assists yet but he was one of our better players I thought

Average again I thought. I'm not seeing a £1 million player so far but he's still young and will hopefully improve. Should be a good one to have for our league one title charge

Seems like an intelligent lad (by footballer standards).
Good and bad from Jack today, which is expected, but the good well outweighed the bad.
100th career start from the boy today. Well done.

Nicholls, Thomas, Helik, Nakayama definitely wouldn't be sticking around for various reasons. The rest would be lucky to have a team from a higher level of football come in for them

Not just saying that because he was shite today. I just haven't seen much at all from him. Except the movement for his Stoke goal was absolutely exceptional. Helik, good and bad since his arrival but the lad hasn't got a good brain at all. Would be handy for League 1 though probably. Nicholls and Thomas, head and shoulders our best two players - would be a hell of a loss to us.

Thought he had a decent game playing a more advanced role. He does need to start adding goals & assists to his game though.

Helik has already made it clear he thinks he is better than league one and the Japanese International will be back on the continent sharpish if we go down.

Do you think a 10 would be better as a deep offensive 6 or does his xG say he would be better playing as a wide 4? Surely pressing through the transitions he would be better playing as a holding 8?

Rudhoni is a good football player …… got off to a great start at town then messed around positional which has affected his performances.
For me a good player being unfairly messed about by the coaching staff.

I thought Rudoni was decent today. 2nd half seemed to play things simple and less errors. Suits playing behind a striker, has some great qualities.
Holmes in the past has been a great no 10 (when he’s on form) but recently Holmes has really struggled for movement and lots of ball watching. Against Preston we really struggled to get the ball out from Camara / Kasumu.
Like to see Rudoni to feature more

Think the step up has been a challenge for him, he started the season looking like he thought he would boss things and has become more and more pragmatic ever since.
