Would not want Barbet, some of his defending at QPR was 'error-prone' to say the least. Would absolutely love Michael Hector, he is a great player.
Failing Hector, Naby would be a shrewd signing. Gives us much needed depth as well as a character the club already loves.

I'd be happy with Sarr
We know what we're getting in terms of the person and his ability. Yes he makes errors but for me he's unquestionably a Championship standard player
Personally though I'd like to see Yuta on the left of central defence (in a three) and try to get a young left back/ wing back on loan with a similar style to KKR. Someone like Cody Drameh or Josh Wilson-Esbrand would be the kind of profile

Left footed CB that's a free agent with loads of championship experience.. Joann Barbet? Is that Yoann’s wife? Dean really is taking the piss now! How skint are we?!

Is this the same Barbet that started nearly 100 consecutive games in the Championship? Must be shit.
Was Naby prone to a mistake? Yes. Has Lees made several mistakes this season already? Yes. Would he improve us? Yes.
Hector’s made 8 appearances in two seasons. The risk is surely greater signing him as it’s likely he won’t be close to making the 15-+ appearances we’re going to need this season.

Big mistake letting him go. Yes he made mistakes but he clearly had a great impression in the dressing room, scored goals, a threat.
Poor decision by town.

It might have been Carlos that didn’t see him getting any game time so advised it was best for him to be released so he could go to a team where he can play 🤷🏻♀️

Wasn't this your quote in December on the REG thread regarding Sarr? 🤔 "I would bring him back and send sarr out on loan. Let him find another club. We need some pace in that back line."

Folk are allowed to change their minds when ridiculous events unfold.

I had Boyle down to replace Sarr who was on big wages for a back up CB, Nakayama to replace Toffolo but has stepped into LCB until we manage to replace Colwill with a left footed CB?

Maybe, but we aren’t going to replace Colwill with someone of similar quality. Do we think we’ll find someone better than Sarr for less money? A dangerous game if that’s our strategy.

I was curious to see if you was always a staunch supporter of Sarr with your disgruntled rant about the club letting him go, but as it turns out you wanted the club to get shut of him in the last window. Anything to have a good moan though, eh?

That's interesting, I remember Hoyle changing his mind about not expecting his money back following the ridiculous event of promotion to the Premier League unfolding, but some don't appear to think that's reasonable. What's your take on that?
