Driving through the top end of Mirfield on my way back from the game, and some dickhead has got a bloody Notts Forest flag up in his garden. The bloody nerve... When is it mischief night? If I was 30 years younger I'd be buying a dozen eggs from the nearby Co-op, mischief night or not!

I'd really like Notts Forest to stay up on goal difference before they are awarded the 10 point penalty at the final whistle.

One good thing about today. Can watch their defeat this evening on MOTD2. Manager isn’t happy! From BBC Nottingham Forest boss Nuno Espirito Santo:"Disappointed. I felt we would get much more from the game. There's a lot of issues that we have to improve, one of them is making real our opportunities and trying to finish them. Tough game but I think we deserved more. "We played a good team with a lot of possession but we limited the chances they created. We should have done better with what we created." Should Brighton have had a player sent off? "It is a red card. It is week after week I am trying to avoid... but you go back to the dressing room and see us as professionals... week after week. Week after week. What is going on? Someone wants to put us down? We received the referees they apologise, they make mistakes. VAR stops the game, it is a clear red card. It is week after week. That is enough. "We come to a point that we try to understand, we don't judge them, terrible mistakes costing us points. You go into the dressing room and say 'let's keep on going' but it is enough. We want better decisions." Use that as fuel going forward? "We have enough fuel. We will fight until the end. Everybody is fighting, but we have to say something and ask for good decisions. It is a clear red card. A clear red card. Someone tell me it is not a red card, am I saying something really stupid? I am just being honest.

Maybe when they’re relegated we can have an open top bus parade and sing songs about their decisions and thank the refs for their help 🤣

Getting Mark Clatterburg hasn’t worked has it ..?
Probably because he wasn’t that popular as a ref .

If its the last game of the season or indeed the play off final and everything depends on it, and you get one or indeed 2 really bad decisions and zero VAR help, then Forest might have a case. Other than that they can fuck off..
What goes around, comes around, perhaps..🤔

I'm just pissed off that the people I sent to The City Ground went to St Mary's instead.

Another weekend, another fantastic sight. The more they feel they’ve been shafted the better. God bless VAR. An old friend that’s done the dirty.

I'm just pissed off that the people I sent to The City Ground went to St Mary's instead. ? What does this mean ?! It was a facetious comment about the fire at Southampton's ground. The joke being that I sent people to burn down Forest's stadium. Which I didn't. Obvs. Like 90% of what I post here, it wasn't intended to be taken seriously.

The Goddess of Luck realised that she got it badly wrong in that play off final and is now making amends.

Getting Mark Clatterburg hasn’t worked has it ..? Probably because he wasn’t that popular as a ref . Not sure what they expected to achieve from that. Pissing off the refs was the only likely result. All those PL refs will know that they only got promoted because of shambolic refereeing (by their current boss), so will find their constant bleating about refereeing and the appointment of Clattenburg particularly irritating. I would love them to go down, bleating about the referees all the way!

I'm surprised he doesn't mention Ormondroyd's Virtual Match Reports, who IIRC partly inspired HTFC World.
This one was one of the first I enjoyed on there and Town fans should be able to spot the appearance of a popular ex-Town defender!
The Peter Crouch match made me laugh my arse off Did the G in Danny G mean Genius?

It probably was a red card but there seemed to be a foul beforehand by a Forest player. Anyway who is to say they would have scored?

It probably was a red card but there seemed to be a foul beforehand by a Forest player. Anyway who is to say they would have scored? Agreed. Gibbs-White kicked out a leg at Moder and could himself have been sent off for violent conduct - but no one else seems to have seen that. I think that slowed the Brighton player down. Maybe without that kick by Gibbs-White, he would have got to the challenge quicker.

The one that comes to mind is the Pedro Mendes one for spurs at Old Trafford. It was that far over it was comical.
