I’m afraid to say this isn’t looking like turning round under DS. He needs this result today, but I think it’s looking more likely he should return to his coaching role. The tactics are wrong, the players aren’t in their strongest positions, and they just look half-arsed. I think its all down to the tactics. You can see that even a team like blackpool have a game plan. When you watch us, we look oblivious. Just a hopeful ball up top |

Individually, I think we have a decent squad of players. But DS needs to get a song out of them sharpish or Deano will pull the plug. Rudoni and Thomas the stand outs for me. But improvements need to be seen in the second half. Blackpool look average at best

Blackpool’s game plan has worked a treat. They know we have no creativity and we give goals away for fun so just keep it tight and we will give them a chance (we actually have them 3). Russell must be injured, I refuse to believe that a professional footballer is unable to run.

Play people in their right fucjkn position
Turton is a right back
Hogg is a central midfielder
Japanese lad is a left sided centre half or old fashioned left back
Thomas is a right winger

On paper we have a decent squad but we aren't going to get anything if we keep playing games with no gameplay and organisation which unfortunately is down to DS. It feels like we have no centre midfield other than Russell whos style of play is the polar opposite to what's needed to be a lone central midfielder. Anjorin only gets the ball on the touchline and passes it when he could cause far more issues down the centre.
Turton has turned out to be a solid signing for us, he might not be the most eye-catching but he's like a championship James milner and will do a job anywhere on the pitch.
