Hayden it was that eventually dropped the bollock that they were able to punish, but the Hogg and Nicholls mistakes should have been goals as well. All very lackadaisical.

A curate's egg. That was good in parts. Rudoni looks class. But beyond that our best performances have come from Turton and Thomas who are doing reasonably well despite being played out if position.
The frustrating thing is that the weaknesses in that squad are as plain as day, and haven't been addressed. Had they been, I honestly think we'd start shooting up the table.
There's a lot right with this squad. The shell is perfect.

Even if we come back and shithouse a 2-1 win can we honestly say we are seeing anything in these performances to give us hope for the long term?
Are they actually giving it 100% here or has Schofield lost them already?

DS has 45 minutes to save his job. Huge half for him.

Its so disorganised, slow, lacking passion, full of individual errors against one of the weakest sides we have played this season. We continue with this DS experiment we will be down by March, if not before. I havnt seen anything in any of the games this season to tell me that DS has any idea what he is doing. This is as bad if not worse than Siewart. We have no proper shape, we play at walking pace, we play players out of position, we gift the opposition chance after chance until they take one. Its all well and good having a couple of corners and a long range effort and looking ok for a bit, but when you cant consistently keep the pressure on because of the mistakes at the back, the opposition know they have to just ride out a small storm knowing they will get chances.
Credit to anyone still going to watch this. I managed until the 44th minute until turning off. How anyone can think DS is up to the job is beyond me. I havnt seen one thing that tells me he can get this team to win games and finish above the bottom 3. The players dont have a clue what to do, no wonder they hesitate and make mistakes. Either DS needs to go see DH now and admit he is so far out of his depth its a whole new planet, or DH needs to get on the phone during the half time interval to someone with even half a clue of how to set a team up. Amateurish, it really is.

The guy looks:- Unfit Disinterested Overrated He's been worse than shite today, needs hooking for Pat Jones now. We all know that it will be Holmes who comes on at around 75 minutes when we're 2-0 down.

You have to wonder what attributes Schofield demonstrated to convince the Town brains trust that he was a manager in waiting. Hang on. 1. He's already there. 2. He's cheap. 3. Er, that's it.
Corberan wasn't fussed about taking him, was he?

We remind me of Crystal Palace in our first prem season. Capable enough looking squad being ruined by a manager who hasn't a fucking scooby what he's doing. Palace wasted little time binning de Boer off, and we need to the same with Schofield.

Obviously want us to turn it around and win. It would papering over the cracks though. The ‘succession planning’ bollocks isn’t working. Time for him to go.

All Town's chances coming down the left via Thomas. If I were the B'pool manager I'd make sure he was closed down.

At least make the changes to give us an orthodox defence. And get Thomas on the right. And Hogg into midfield. Christ it's not difficult to see. Turton and Thomas both on the left. Nuts, isn't it?

Classic moment. Nicholls dices with death to release Hogg who carries it 20 yards unopposed to hoof it to Blackpool defence.

I just can't see any patterns to our play at all.

The whole succession planning is a load of nonsense in my opinion. We should make our decisions based on what we need at the time, rather than someone who has been waiting in the wings. Right now we dont need another of these coaches that has no experience. We are in big trouble. We need someone who can turn us around to avoid relegation.
