Yup, there's specific plans in place which include no sport, basically no comedy shows, miserable music, endless programmes about her, etc. Basically everything is fixed to help you feel miserable in some way or another even if you couldn't care less about her

She'll probably pass away mid-game as we are about to take a penalty to draw level and the match will be abandoned.

Can’t wait. Great day out. Less pressure away from home. Players in their correct position. Two upfront. 2-1 town You will never see two forwards up front again for Town. The whole system is based on a lone runner.Even when we chase a game it is always one off one in.It does my head in but that’s what Wagner brought in and we will never change it

If the ten day no sport thing is correct it’s going to add an awful lot more pressure on the clubs. Early turn around (not great for those in the play-offs)… break for the ridiculous World Cup that’s mid season. Football is shooting itself in the foot and players and fans are just not considered anymore.
As for Saturday in true town style I get more positive (some would disagree and probably then post a load of twitter posts after we have just lost- get a life)…
1-1 rudhoni (he is due one).

Maybe it'll get postponed if Lizzie doesn't make the end of the week. Won't we just play King's Park Rangers instead?

Last chance saloon for me. Helik - must start, Russel - get him to the bench, the slowest footballer ever to wear the Town shirt, must bring in Camara. Keep Thomas on the right - might just scrape a draw. He is still recovering from injury. Training but there was a question over whether he could play a full game so who exactly is in the last chance saloon? Is it Danny’s fault we brought in players with injuries?

Do they cancel all events over the weekend if she passes beforehand? I suspect they will do as there will be a period of official mourning. The last King died on the 6th of February 1952. We drew with Wolves on the 9th of February 1952. So they might not cancel the games. Oh and we did get relegated that season.

Match off now and the Wigan match at least, surely.

Match off now and the Wigan match at least, surely. Really?? I guess it wouldn’t really surprise me, but in a time when we’ve had our liberties stripped from us, we should carry on with our lives while respecting her legacy

Can they even afford to postpone all football with the World Cup around the corner?

Whilst I have every sympathy with a family losing a loved one (including the Queen) I am at a loss to understand why sporting events would be cancelled out of respect. Surely it would be more respectful if we could all turn up at QPR on Saturday and show our respect then.,

Surely it would be more respectful if we could all turn up at QPR on Saturday and show our respect then., The only reasons I can think is that public transport is going to be chaos if people are heading down south and police/security staff numbers may be limited if there are numerous gatherings to celebrate the queens life. This post isn’t meant in any way to be disrespectful to her passing, just a discussion as to how/why sporting postponements may happen.

If there is to be a complete cancellation of fixtures this weekend I’d have expected an announcement already, so methinks this weekend will go ahead as usual. Next weekend could be a different matter as the funeral will probably be about then (maybe even on my birthday, 19th).

Friday's EFL games called off, so it's highly likely the weekends will be called off tomorrow as well
