Just my opinion - when McClean at the end of the match walks around sarcastically clapping and waving goodbye to the Town fans I wondered why so many Town players decided to go over and shake his hand after seeing him do it. That might have been something to do with fans being more bothered about booing him all game than supporting their own team. Baffling. We had a team?

I know it's me about Holmes again but does anyone agree with Chicken that he was a 7/10 and level with Kasumu as Towns best player 😯😯😯 I'm far from a Holmes lover but I thought he was decent tonight to be honest. Anything remotely good first half involved him, including Ward's sitter.

Put one on a plate for sorba but Danny decided to get in the way and blast it over. Not good enough at this level most weeks though

Holmes for me looks like he is lost. No confidence. Not sure what our tactics and philosophy is? We don't press high,we don't break well enough and we don't support the players enough. We don't run beyond the ball and our set plays are terrible. I cannot see any options at all... Thought Holmes played well meself. He has the ability to score goals (not that we've seen it this season). Didnt like his hissy fit when taken off but at least it shows some feelings.

Awful first half. I hope Danny can now see the side he needs to start against Cardiff, which other than putting Rhodes on, and no knock at Rhodes, but the other subs really changed the game. Nakayama started playing as a wing back. Tino attacked them down the middle and gave Kasumu and Rudoni space to work. KKH and Pat Jones look they could build quite a partnership. Wigan were really lucky in that last half hour.
The things which rattle me are we started with entirely the wrong players. That is a concern. If Kasumu can start why not KKH and Jones, they really improved us. The other thing is we struggled against a kick it long, head it on to a fast frontman side. We should be able to stop teams like that.

I know it makes no difference, but is there evidence to see if the ball crossed the line before Lees scored? It dididn'look over to me, and I had a pretty good view. I certainly hope they've tested the hawkeye at that goal since the last game many many times over.

When are Refs going to grow some balls and book for blatant time wasting. Same for Town as well.
It kills the game for the supporters, and seems to be getting far worse.

Anything remotely good first half involved him, including Ward's sitter. First half he got in a great position a few times, and every time he checked his run and went backwards. A fresh Holmes off the bench against a tiring defence is really effective, but if he starts he's blowing out his arse by 60mins.

Not getting anywhere until we stop conceding and needing more than five chances to score. If Schofield is still in place on Saturday the crowd might be lower than 10k.

Hes not alone though - sadly the manager aint up to it for me. Thomas on the left is something only he can see and the lack of midfield structure is embarrassing.

Jeremy Simpson was an absolute disgrace today. Booked Thomas at half time for arguing with him, then several times in the second half he was surrounded by Wigan players and no cards shown... I can only hope that Thomas gave him a real zinger to provoke the booking. Something about him being fat and slow and utterly incapable of keeping up with play. Hopefully at the next international break, Sorba can learn a few Welsh insults that will go over any ref's head.

They’re B team signings. Rudoni, Kasumu, Mbete, Boyle, KKH would probably be fine one League One but they’re out of their depth at this level. Kasumu wasn't out of his depth tonight. Plenty of excellent moments with some ropey bits thrown in. He was good on the ball, but his positioning was awful at times. Always positioned himself with a Wigan player between himself and the ball meaning he wasn't available for a pass on far too many occasions. Not sure why he did this because he looked quite good when he did get on the ball.

Can anyone calculate how many players we’ve used in our starting line ups this season, in the 8 league games. It feels like we’ve used 20+ players already.

I hate this club sometimes. Continually run by tight, visionless Yorkshiremen. My only hope is that Hoyle’s pancreas gives in before we go down. Shocking comment that Don’t know who you are matey, but obviously an odious cretin. I am currently on palliative care for pancreatic cancer, and believe me I would wish this on no one, nor on anything that lives and breathes. Cannot believe that anyone would come out with a comment like that over a f*****g football game. I seriously hope that someone outs you matey, because the world is in a shitty enough place right now without a vile comment like that. Just pray that you don’t get the same problem during your life mate.

Holmes’s was furious when he came off, that demonstrates to me that he actually cares.

Defending for the first from Helik and then Mbete is awful.
I don't think it's too bad from Lees for the 2nd to be honest. Could have stayed tighter but he's taken him away from goal and forced him off balance when he's hit it. It's very poor keeping. The angle behind the goal is damning. That should never go in.

Saying that tino did well when he came on. Had they both been on instead of 36 centre backs we may have got something from the game.

Why we play this way with players just not suited to it is beyond me.

Having said that his replacement is exceptional...just not very fit

They both look like tidy enough players but if anyone swallowed the "Rudoni + Kasumu = O'Brien" bullshit, they must be fucking puddled.
